Giving up ?

I started a thread about this already called Error connecting to Host anyone??.
Check it out!!

To be honest though there are still many Idiots just cutting corners or punting you off the track as if they are playing Grid or Need For Speed.
When GT5 comes out and we all go online with that will it be the same thing with trying to connect to host or a mixture of that and the 12-25 year olds that drive not race just to punt someone off. Playing online with GT has made this game the best race sim in the world but as dumb as those Human Beings are who just want to plough into you corner after corner lap after lap is making me feel like not playing online at all. Still i should not say anything because those with Lag switches and just no skill what so ever will keep on doing the same thing.

I'm still very interessed in GT5P, because I usually have some "bumper to bumper" with a friend of mine, usually together with some talking over the internet, discussing tunning and bragging for the laptime achieved.

To my interest also helps that i've only recently woke up and started playing frequently, and now I just can't wait for GT5.

Last time I heard that song- 3 fat girls at Harpers Ferry Jr. High school did some stupid dance to that song at the talent show. LOL!!!!!! Man, thanks for the trip down memory road Carl!
 
I've been addicted to this game since it came out lmao. You can't get me off of it. PERIOD.

Well, until GT5 comes out anyways. hah

So I did and I bought shift:sly:. I needed a racing game and I was too impatient to wait for GT5. I got tired of online because there was no more than 3 people in a expert race (NTSC)
 
I'm still loving GT5P, sure its hugely annoying when you wait 5 mins just to get a connection error message but it doesn't stop me from playing it, I want to play it more than ever with GT5 just around the corner but I haven’t been able to because my PS3 has packed up. When I get my new PS3 next week I will have the odd go on GT5P but I will mostly be on Colin McRae 2.
 
I haven't played gt5p in ages. online was no fun (and I guess I'm hearing that disconnects are actually worse now), offline is no fun with only 6 tracks, and a very limited number of races. Eiger is about the only track I really like in prologue anyway.

so yes, prologue's become an awful chore. I'm hoping gt5 news at tgs will rekindle my interest in prologue for at least a few days though.

I just picked up enthusia, so that and gt4 have been grabbing my attention lately.
 
Haven´t given up at all. In fact, I just started again. I finished the A-Class tonight and I'm planning on finishing the S-Class this weekend if I have the time. THen just endless playing around in time trial, driving just for the sheer fun of it :). God I can´t wait until GT5 :dunce:

I must be ill or something, I'm still itching to get home from work everyday to do more WRS or racing in GT5P. Getting the wheel back in April 100% re-invented this game for me.

I agree with you about the wheel. It has made me want to play the game but the lack of online due to the matching is not fun. Instead of running hundreds of laps in TT i much rather prefer jumping in the deep end and attempting to have a race online. All be it that i will finish far far behind if im not used to the combo
 
I've been bored with GT5P for a while, to get my racing fix I bought a second hand Ferrari Challenge from my local gamestore and have been having plenty fun ever since. If I manage to complete it before GT5 comes out then I'll probably hunt out a second hand Supercar Challenge.

I'm impressed by your (google?) Icelandic knowledge :sly:. I just recently got the G25 and the game just transforms! Been playing when I have the time (which unfortunately, I don´t have much of) and I'm very impressed :).

I´d been playing it before just with the SixAxis and finished all but one S-Class event (I forget which one), but my poor old 60gb crashed and my saves with it. With the wheel it´s like I'm playing a new game :).

Haven´t really touched the online part of the game, but maybe I'll give it a go sometime.
