The rims are yuck but it's pretty aggressive looking. The fenders are kind of odd but throw some 35's all the way around and it'll be a nice truck. I can honestly say I like it.

I think it looks like a F-250 with the 'Option' F-150 headlights and a GMC badge. Just by looks, it's more 'let's do what the other's are doing' design crap that has kept these from standing out. The F-150 looks decent-to-good depending on the level, and the RAM, grill-slant aside, is something I can get behind. Even the Tundra stands out, this doesn't to me.

Frighteningly, this is the better of the two now.

It would look better with square wheels under those square fenders...yuck. At least Ford remembered wheels are still round.

It's hilarious that it's taken GM this long to figure out the airflow/tailgate up thing considering Mythbusters proved it about 5 years ago.

I'm digging those trucks. They look beautiful to me. I always preferred GM styling over Ford & Dodge yuck piles.:yuck:

Meh, better than the 80's & 90's when all 3 had the exact same body style apart from grills but the GM trucks had better grills. :P

Extremely disagree, they were the most bland lmao

The GMC has more style on it's face IMHO.

I own a '98 K1500 Silverado so I'm extremely racist to the other trucks out there. :P You can't deny the looks of the split lights.

Personally I never cared for them. I always favored the looks of the Ford and the Dodge just because of the grill type and the pushed in and blacked out headlights. That said I'm not saying the GMC's and Chevy's look bad, because I think quite the opposite, I'm just saying I prefer the others. I do agree in their own right they look pretty good and I'll always point out an older model going down the road.

Chrome is just so over played these days... Its too much! The double grill/headlight front fascia is horrible done. One of the worst looking front ends I've seen on a truck.

When a Tundra or F series truck is tailgating me at least its a mean looking front end, but now I got to deal with these terrible looking GMs?? I'm installing a flamethrower kit.

I like them. But I wish they would go retro with the trucks and bring back the late '60s body style.

I prefer the '70s and early '80s but yeah I agree those would be nice as well.

I really like how they made all four headlights even higher and thus more blinding to everybody else than they were before. If the government needs to mandate anything about car design and safety it should be the height of headlights. No vehicle should have headlghts higher than a certain point...hell, this truck's headlights are about a foot higher than most semi trucks! It's ridiculous. These things would literally shine over the roof of my car at a stop light.

I like having lights up high. They help in heavy snowfall.

There is a limit as well, at least in New York. I have 4 lights on a roll bar installed in the bed of my truck and they are only legal for offroad use. They aren't hooked up, but if they were like the old set I had they wouldn't be legal.

But how else would they show how tough their truck looks at night?

Seriously the owners of those trucks will probably give some idiotic reason like it helps them see better or something, which it doesn't. Plus with those being projectored HID's the cut off is probably uber wonky with they sitting up that high. The fog lights are also pretty high too, and since truck owner lover to drive around with as many lights as possible on, they're just another set of lights to irritate oncoming drivers.

There kind of is one , the headlights could be at least 2 foot high but not more then 4 foot.
But I'm don't sure how strict they are on companies following them.

But most all trucks/suvs with offroad lights, have all the lights on when they are driving down the road with street lights on it, it seems like they are driving in the middle of the woods. Most cops don't even give them tickets for it.

And they are the most annoying thing to drive in front of and when they are driving towards you, it's one of most distractive things on the road.

The companies have to keep within the laws in order to sell the things, it's those who buy them that but things into question most of the time.

I'm surprised they don't get pulled over at least, even here in Texas I've seen them get it. Of course, they were usually the halogen hyper-bright-eye-scorchers that had/would never see an actual trail.

I'd put money on them wanting to go that direction, or maybe the early-mid-80's quad-lamp grille, like that black one a page or two back.

Sorry, T, but I still think it looks awful.

I'd be willing to bet if I had the over the roof lights on I'd get pulled over in about 2 seconds. I never see anyone driving with offroad lights on. Fog or plow lights maybe. Plow lights usually shut the vehicle lights off.

Yeah it is annoying looking in the rear view and just getting a face full of light.

Even my cars auto dimming rear view mirror cant handle some of the light given out these days.

I threw this together in photoshop. I think it looks kinda like a modern day 4th gen CK.

I Like that. Does remind me of the 4th generation.

I think it looks good, make it single cab/long box and remove (or tone down) those odd fender bulges and you have one solid looking pickup.

I took the liberty of doing this (obviously very quick, rough work):

I prefer it this way, it's simpler and a bit more elegant.

Cut the grill in half to shorten it up ant it wouldn't be too bad. But as it sits its too large.

That's the problem with all full-size trucks now. My '98 Silverado fits in the garage with extra space left. Now my dad's 2011 Silverado which is the exact newer equivalent of mine barely fits in the garage. He has to rest the front almost against the wall to fit it in & the garage door has to be open to get around to the driver's side. So yeah these newer trucks are WAY to big. Feels like I'm in a tank when I ride in it.

My pickup from 1985 feels more like a tank than the newer ones do honestly. In comparison they are almost the same size believe it or not. Nothing has really changed over the last 30 years.
