God of War III disc will have a new Gran Turismo 5 trailer?

Damage in the video doesn't show any deformation again. I wonder what would be the point of having it if all types of collisions no matter the speed will only result in doors flying off and bumpers hanging down.

Someone here was right when he said that the new trailer would mostly be made out of pieces from previous ones'.

Did the bmw z4 coupe made an appearance before? If not we have our first new car in months.
 
First moments of trailer shows probably one of the "Special Stage", right?
I love that tracks, they were best for me in the whole game.
The camera view from the sky on the highway is just hilarious! I love it!

Now only wait to see this trailer in HD!
 
The trailer is pure awesomeness, i love how PD allways manages to capture the beauty of those cars!

Iam very very excited now, I can't wait until I get my hands on GT5 this fall. I allready preordered GoW3, so i will get the HD trailer on my 1080p Samsung :drool:

The only thing that i did not like is the damagemodelling,because it still looks exactly like the damage shown at TGS. Iam one of those people who don't care for damage, but if they want to do it, they should do it right. Though its nice to see all those parts falling off the car, the rest of the car appears to be undamaged. In the end the mechanical damage is the most important thing.
 
I think this was the trailer shown at TGS behind closed doors, hence why damage still looks the same as then :)

We might see another newer trailer at GDC

I can't wait to see it in HD on my TV. The city (Tokyo?) at night and Rome tracks look amazing. Think I'll be watching this quite a few times before I get bored of it :D

Quite an unexpected treat to wake up to, feels like a long time since anything new was released!

Point taken, I guess you are right. I just expected the trailer to be "new", like 1 or 2 months old or something.
At least the trailer is awesome, Iam completely hyped now!
 
If this trailer is just a plain file in the VIDEO directory of the BD it could be possible to copy it to USB storage.

Someone with a Neogaf account could post this hint there :).

Or even record it with a capture card. That would be decent enough.

The SLS AMG wasn't even unveiled yet back at TGS 09 but it features throughout this trailer.
 
The guy who posted the GT5 vid from GoWIII said it's appears in the video section of XMB...but it's not there for me :grumpy:

Gutted. I must have a pre-final retail version.

Oh well...nice trailer though. My reception to the night racing is a bit...well...yeah it's OK but the way the headlights light the road seems off. Apart from that it's really good.
 
I've seen enough of the SLS and the 458. I want to see new cars we haven't seen yet. I wouldn't even mind cars we've already seen on screenshots (Ford GT, any type of the Gallardo, Viper etc.).
But what I really want to see is the Madrid an Rome track (Rome's in, but just a second) and car manufactures we haven't seen. I talk about BMW (new M3 (saw one yesterday) or 650i (neighbour once had one)) and please PD show us the F1 in a trailer (better LM version). We will have ~1000 cars but know just a few. PD you have so many perfectly modelled cars behind closed doors. SHOW THEM!

Trailer was alright but nothing really new.

650i? Really? It's the rich man's Ford Probe, i'd rather see a 3.0 CSL, E30 M3 or an original 507.....

I'm bored with seeing the 458.. Still love looking at the SLS thought that car still turns me on. But I agree they should show some different cars now. I don't expect to see all of them (obviously) But, I guess if they showed too many cars (I guess in their opinion) it would ruin the surprise.

Well what about putting some cars that we already know will be in the game into the trailers, instead of the same SLS / 458 / Suby WRC...

I mean we know all the cars from GT PSP will be in there, surely they could just put in some of those just to mix it up a bit, and that wouldn't be giving away surprise.
Or just forget the surprise and have the next trailer showing some good ol V8 Supercars ripping around Bathurst... I can dream...

Oh, and back to the trailer, I liked it :) Guess I will go back and play some prologue again while I wait for it :S At least I've been playing a bit of World in Conflict (just bought a new laptop, my old one couldn't play it) and FFXIII arrives in 2 days - that will pass the time :)
 
Well that confirms that your headlights to actually light up the road ahead of you, this never happened in previous games.

It's all in the little details. :)
 
Does anyone know what the name of the song is? Its another great tune I must have.

I might be wrong, but 35 seconds into the trailer after it zooms out of the SLS cockpit i think i saw a BMW Z4 M Coupe, but it's difficult to judge, it might be an ordinary Z4 convertible.
Anyway, nothing major or a surprising scoop.
 
Its the Z4 M Coupe (if you stop it in the right moment you can see the coupe roof), which we have already seen two times (cockpit in a development screen and in the GTPSP ending).
 
Maybe better quality - has 720p option
Someone has a direct feed version, hope he puts it up soon'ish
