I'm not completely sure if this is the right place for this thread, if it isn't just tell me đź‘Ť
Anyway, I've been having some problems with my wireless connection to my PS3, the NAT type is inconsistent and I get disconnected quite regularly. I'm going to switch to a wired connection in the hope this will help. My family have a modem which is connected to a wireless router, the Desktop is wired to the router and I use the wireless for the PS3.
My question is, if I plug the ethernet cable into the port on the back of the wireless router, will my PS3 connect? And will I get NAT 1? I know you need a direct connection to the internet for NAT 1, does that mean through a modem then, or can I get it through a router?
Hope this is understandable, I'm okay with PC components but when it comes to Internet connections I'm clueless. Thanks in advance đź‘Ť
