I'm not completely sure if this is the right place for this thread, if it isn't just tell me 👍
Anyway, I've been having some problems with my wireless connection to my PS3, the NAT type is inconsistent and I get disconnected quite regularly. I'm going to switch to a wired connection in the hope this will help. My family have a modem which is connected to a wireless router, the Desktop is wired to the router and I use the wireless for the PS3.
My question is, if I plug the ethernet cable into the port on the back of the wireless router, will my PS3 connect? And will I get NAT 1? I know you need a direct connection to the internet for NAT 1, does that mean through a modem then, or can I get it through a router?
Hope this is understandable, I'm okay with PC components but when it comes to Internet connections I'm clueless. Thanks in advance 👍
