Oh my god i don;t usually post about golding an event but this one in the lambo for me was a nightmare!!!!! has taken me probably the best part of 2 weeks to do WOOOOHOOOO :-D

Congrats, it is one of only 3 golds I have left to get, have given up for now as that car is such a POS to drive on that track.

I did manage to get it down to a point where I was only .5 of s second behind the leader, however I don't have a lot of patience and get mad very easily. The darkness is the main problem for me, full brightness in game settings and on TV and makes no difference, I don't have great eyesight as it is and that just makes it harder.

Congrats on the gold! I just recently got gold on this one by tweaking the brake bias and putting the driving line on!

you should put Tuscany night race, instead of tuscan because:

Tuscan can mean:
The car by TVR, Tuscan Speed six

Anyway, congrads! it's quite a race, even with the race softs....

Can finally add my name to the Gold trophy for this one, it was a damn close race in the end with a victory of just over 1 second. Very nearly spooned it at the last corner too but my adrenaline kicked in a bit I think and I sneaked past him into the last corner.

Had to use aids though, only way I could keep the car under control, if anyone is interested I used:

TCS=8
Driving Line=On
Active Steering=Mild
Steering Sensitivity=3

Please no jibes about using aids, some can do it without yes but some can't.

It maybe is not so challenging for a lot of people, reminds me of Mission 34 in GT4. Lot's of people struggled with that, and some i'm sure still have not done it but I thought it was fairly easy, relatively speaking.

Alps and the Alfa is the hardest one, but that one at least you can see where you are going. The Tuscany point to point race can make you feel blind and is easily the second hardest in the bunch.

I could only get silver on it and was really far behind the F430. Finally got gold last night after many failed attempts. Love the sound of the Lambo so it was worth sticking at it. Now I only have the Vettel challenges to silver and gold.

Tips:
-Brightness in-game: up
-TV Brightness: up
Looks just like daytime
Driving line on also helps.
That's how I got it.

I found this the hardest of the grand tour, took ages to gold. Is this track available in practice mode, I haven't looked? It's an awesome road!!

The darkness is one thing, but even after having learned the track pretty well it's quite obvious that this Lambo is not suited to a track with sharp curves like this.

I've got a photo finish with a lead of 0.00,001 seconds.

Driving Line: On, fully brightness & i think all aids off. Took me 4 or 5 tries (got broneze earlier & aimed for gold 2 month later after i've earned enough skill). 👍

I found that switching to roofcam helped - it gives a better and further view of the road ahead.

Finally did it! Roof cam, TC4 and driving line were what did it for me. What a chuffing ball ache and thoroughly unenjoyable task! That car is a total dog, especially with SRF and Racing Meds.

Just another 3.5mil exp to go and will hit level 40. Last two todos of GT5. I'll wait for GT6 to do a 24 hour event now.

I've had it at gold since 2012. I only recently golded Eiger though, and that's with a time of 1:16.995.

Did Eiger two weeks back, that was more fun (but still a dreadful car). Ticking the last three things off before GT6. Not sure I can be bothered to get lvl 40 . Pretty sure it will niggle away at me if I don't.
