Thought it would be a cool idea to start a thread for finding cars on street view. My friend once challenged me to find an Audi R8 on the road, and I spent the rest of that class trying to find it.
Rules:
1. You cannot take screenshots at dealerships, car shows, racetracks, etc.
2. You cannot take a screenshot of your own car or the car of a friend.
3. Any challenge car must have a production run of at least 500 units, as it may be impossible to find extremely rare cars.
4. When the challenge car is found and the screenshot uploaded, the finding user will list the next challenge car.
5. After 72 hours or 3 days, if a car is not found, it will time out and any user can list a new challenge car.
6. A new car cannot have already been in a challenge (see list below) The challenge car does not have to be a specific model, it can also be a certain type of car.
History: Cars and their finders.
Porsche 911 Turbo: @Dennisch
Daihatsu Midget II: @Wiegert
Volkswagen Phaeton: @Robin.
Saturn Sky: @JMoney689
Ford Taurus SHO: -NOT FOUND-
Jaguar XJ: @RocZX
Car with questionable modifications: @AJHG1000 (Mitsubishi Eclipse)
1970's Pickup: @JMoney689 (Dodge Ram)
Vehicle hauling/towing a lawn mower: @R1ch85 (Chevrolet Silverado)
Tractor: @xXKingJoshXx
Emergency Vehicle: @cbarbosa
Volkswagen Beetle: @Doog
BMW M5 (E39): @SniperRed3
Tips:
-Consider the challenge car's market, and where people who bought that car might live.
-Congested areas are easiest to search in.
-Refresh this thread often while searching for the car. Another player may have already found it.
I'll start off with the first challenge: Porsche 911 Turbo (of any year or subtrim).
