Hi, anyone else seen Gosford Park? If so, what did you think?
I went to see it at the weekend with the wife, and we both thought it was a bit rubbish, to be honest. I mean, yeah, it won a bunch of Oscars, and yeah, the acting was excellent (especially from Maggie Smith), but it was like it was the start of a much bigger story. Loads happened and was hinted about, but nothing really came of any of it. It was as if it was the start of a drama series, and there are more episodes to come.
And then it just kinda ended, which wasn't really satisfactory. Maybe I didn't get it, but I just thought there should have been a lot more to this movie.
I give it 4/10.
