This is the GQ by Citroen, a new concept car designed to provide "the ultimate gentleman’s drive".

It features a new plug-in hybrid powertrain, which features a 1598cc, four-cylinder direct injection petrol engine.

It travels from 0-60mph in 4.5seconds, has an electronically limited top speed of 155mph and Co2 emissions of 80g/km. No other details have been given.

The car has officially been created as a collaboration between Citroen and GQ magazine, and insiders say there are no production plans for the car.

It was designed to a brief set out by GQ editor Dylan Jones and created by a design team headed by Mark Lloyd, who most recently styled the DS3.

The car’s cabin is accessed by rear coach doors. The interior has been designed to be "spacious, comfortable and futuristic", and its interior details and interior were created by Patrick Grant, the creative director of Savile Row tailors E.Tautz.

Lloyd said: "Where this car works so well with GQ is that it fits with the current attitudes of conspicuous consumption. It is understated rather than in-your-face and sleek rather than too macho."

Jones said: "The GQ car needed to have the “want” factor, but it also needed to look, feel and drive like the sort of car no sane man could choose to ignore. We think it looks very special.’

Helpfully named after the magazine to jump some free PR. Deeelightful.

Suppose it's one way of Citroen shaking off their Church-going-pensioner-in-a-C3 image - phone up GQ and let their editor have a play around with your design studio for a week.

Though I do wonder why companies even bother to churn out specs for one-off concepts. I mean really, why?

It travels from 0-60mph in 4.5seconds, has an electronically limited top speed of 155mph and Co2 emissions of 80g/km. No other details have been given.

Why bother? It's fictitious anyway, so why not say it'll do 255 and run on nothing but milk?

Aston? Pffft.

Real men drive a Jaaaaaaaaaaaag.

The Citroen's cool though. They seem to have a knack for concepts at the moment, though I'd agree with Jondot that releasing specs seems a bit pointless. If any mens mag is going to be let loose to assist in designing a car though it's probably best it's GQ as they're the least scummy of the mags. If FHM had done it the bonnet would be curved like an enormous pair of breasts, and if Front had done it the car would be covered in tattoos.

Actually, a Front car might be ideal for picking up hot emo girls, so maybe I would drive one of those...
