One final adjustment . . We don't need the clutch tonight.

No one has got back from the reserves as of yet. With an hour and a half to go before room opens I'll also offer a place on the grid to the final reserve.

@Spinerkopin are you free to race in round 1 tonight?

Just completed a 22 lap stint. Trying to figure out the best pit strategy. Going to the end of lap 16 means putting too much fuel in. Also means being careful for lap 17/18 as the Hyundai seems quite slippery on new tires.

Current thinking is the end of lap 13.

Onwards and upwards. Monza will be different!

Not in the Hyundai it won't

Edit. It actually shouldn't be too bad. It's decent in a slipstream, and it has great brakes.

And I do suck at Catalunya. So, that was never going to go very well anyway. Just not helped by the cable incident.

@paoloevans I was very surprised you didn't cruise pass me on the straight when you were only 0.3 seconds behind me coming off the last corner.

Oh and could you share the reply plz?

Had fun tonight, had a really good battle with @RZQSPEED
I have tried to put together a highlights reel. Probably left too much of my battle in it, but thought it was a decent watch. Congrats to the podium, you drove a great race, and major congrats to @HoonigaN96 as you were in a different league :)

ps. I tried to share the replay in GTS but it crashes at 94% upload

Here are some pictures of the race. There maybe more, but I need to find some time to do more of this.

About the entire session, well, my qualifying could've gone a bit better (or a lot worse?) Had a final flyer that would've put me ahead of @Geo_kbc if not for being scrappy in the final sector. As for the race itself, well, @HoonigaN96 is, as I said post-race, a nerfed @TRL LIGHTNING (sorry for not getting invited, you'll have to wait for a reserve to withdraw from the entire series, or better yet join us on the next season! Or maybe not...) throughout the entire session, with a pole, FL, led all laps, and eventually winning the race! Had some battles along the way, including the Lap 3 defense against @Tassie_tiger, which results in him stopping his car in the middle of the corner, and sadly power-overed his car into the gravel. And then there is the battle between me and @Lost Sheltie as seen on his video above. Oh and it includes a save on Lap 20 where I almost binned myself (or doing a @Lazybike if you will) at the chicane. In the end, I started 4th and finished 4th.

As for the pitstop penalties for Monza, Zephyr gets a 10-second stop and go penalty for winning the race, followed by @Spinerkopin with 5 seconds, and Geo with 2 seconds. Since Kopin is a reserve, if he doesn't enter the next one, will Geo get Kopin's 5-second penalty (which results in me inheriting Geo's 2-second penalty, naturally), or just give the driver that penalty and say "that's it, no inheriting", @paoloevans?

Will try and share replay today. Yeh was hoping to pass you on the start straight that time around, just couldn't get close enough. Was surprised at the Alfas spped there (or the lack of grunt from the Viper!).

If @Spinerkopin doesn't race the penalty WON'T be passed down. He will keep it and serve when he does race again. However a couple of drivers never showed so I will need to see if they are still interested in participating. If not Spinerkopin can have the full time entry.

Yep replay crashes every time at 94% uploaded.

@andrew1990 I have changed your entry number to 00 mate as thats what you ran with in the race. Please can you stick with 00 for the rest of the season :)
