I am watching the replay of the first lap, can't believe the bloody edge of the kerb took two wheels up and out into the wall with minor damage all round. Can I file a complaint for the circuit's poor maintenance?

But yes, it's a good race in lobby B despite several ruined starts. (I lost my P6 in one of the restarts... :scared:)
Glad to have kept my head down, and not spin the rocket around the track. Managed to improve my strategy planning on the go till the end with a free pit stop.

Once again, congratulations to the lobby winners!:gtpflag:

Sucks to hear that, if only there's a representative drive...
Yeah I was on side of you lol I seen you had two wheels on the grass and I was like this won’t end well and my suspension got messed up lol

If a bronze driver is now silver his points are moved to the silver championship or he is still in our standings ( bronze)?

Well I actually touched the edge of the grass just right before the kerb, that launched me up in that perfect hit.

I had to let go of the car and tried to steer it into the grass to avoid hitting the back that's beside me, but it was rather nasty since I lost total control of the car while trying to defend my position and take a wider turn to keep my speed. That wasn't ideal for everyone and I probably paid the steepest price for ending my race early.

Had I steered right and turned into your path, I would've taken out at least 3 cars along in the wreckage. It was crazy split second decision on the risks weighing out.

You made the right choice just wish I would have noticed you on the grass but by the time I did it was too late

Results from Race #7, are posted below. Congratulations to @BGCaligula and @GTP_Guido for the wins in Silver and Bronze divisions.
We do have some IR's on file that the Race Stewards will need to review. While it does not effect the driver(s) overall finish, there may be penalty points accessed.
Points are scored with the drop in effect.
  • Drivers with 7 races, top 5 scored
  • Drivers with 6 races, top 5 scored
  • Drivers with 5 or less, total point value
Full stats, data, points can be found in POST #2 and here.

New start technique worked nicely @Neutty @Herimopp89. Thanks for the pointers. Only lost one spot to @Jw_wk1010, who is usually solid off the line, so that was acceptable. Yamagiwa is one of my favorite fictional tracks, so I was looking forward to this. Especially because unfortunately for me, this could be my last race of the season. I spend December on the east coast with my family and could be off on a moment's notice. There's a chance I'm available for one more week, but it's a 50/50.

This was an all or nothing type race for me. Really, really wanted the W and with alot of consistency and a whole lot of luck, there it is. My first ARL win.

Great, clean, respectful racing from everyone as usual. I'll be in the forum cheering everyone on regardless of where I am.

Oh, one more thing...

Congrats man I was super happy last night when I heard you won the overall u definitely deserved it. My plan was simple last night to force you to wear ur stuff out. BUTTTTTTTT you were in ur own race and by lap 7 I told the chat I got nothing for him. So I switched to med tires and was running full fuel cycles just kinda cruising along.

And making me super nervous on that last lap @Jw_wk1010....to the point I almost blew the last turn on the last lap lol

Valuable experience old man u could see where I was faster which also showed you where u could go faster and help in learning how to handle pressure. Alot of that lap I was not more than a couple inches from your bumper which u handled very well.

I ran like crap but hey, I finished not last! First time I actually felt like I had some semblance of control behind the wheel of the Ferrari.

Thought about it. I will if I can, but I'll be on controller if I do. Which is fine.

I was never more focused bro. I swear I didn't blink for 28 laps lol. I know I'm lucky though because had Neutty and Sam not have an incident, I feel like my best still would not have been enough, but I'll take it.

What he said! If you could only squeak out 3 more races!
I'll do what I can Nick.

Thanks everyone.

First off congratulations to the winners and you suck @GTP_Guido ..jk

I needed a good run last night to hold onto my points lead now that we are back into GR.3 cars. I went into the race with no strategy but in the end it didn't matter. I got a great qualifying position 5th considering who was in the room but on our 3rd restart got a horrible jump off the line after two good ones fell back a few spots but made them back up quickly.
Going into what I call the dog leg because it's not really a chicane it's 2nd corner before the Straight.
My race was brought to a very early end on lap one as I got slammed from behind and forced into the wall hard resulting in front & rear, tire and engine damage falling to last.
I had @GTP_Guido in my sights up to that point then I had to watch him drive away.

Lap 16 in the same exact spot I got hit again causing damage to my car once again. After that I just kinda lost all motivation and limped home a lap down losing a lot of points to everyone behind me.
I walked around my Mustang to make sure I don't have a decal on the back it saying please hit me...I don't...lol
Just can't seem to catch a break in this class.

Next Saturday is the 2.4hr MSN Gr.4 endurance race at the Nurburgring 24h before the ARL race that night. Should be interesting racing that long between both events.

Yes sir next weekend is jam packed with some good racing @Herimopp89 has the 4 hours at the mountain and the 2.4 at the green hell I doubt I will be able to feel my legs after that hahaha

There, there! I've got the Slowest Lap award again!

I'm at least glad I didn't inflict critical damage at others. Should've wrecked the tire barriers so the track could be covered and red flagged.

I'll be sure to add a decal "NOTICE ME JFALCON!" by the next race, if I could make it in time! HAHAHA!
