ARL BREAKING NEWS
Richard Drainer here with some surprising news from the main training facility of Paul Bunyan Racing.
I decided to stop in and talk to Fullness about the race last week and get some comments...only to find the #23 Aston Martin not practicing and not even at the facility!!
I had to call him up and get the 411
DD - First off Fullness i wanted to get your feelings on last weeks race
F - Well Dick, (may i call you that?)
DD - Sure, everyone does
F - Cool, so i went in with an open strat, but knew we by far werent the fastest there so we were going to take it as it came. Once we saw Sam show up we pretty much knew top 3 was a hope and a prayer, so midstream (based on our position at the time) we decided to just run our mediums the whole race. Once we tagged the wall at the sewer on the top of the hill in the 2nd stint we were glad we went that direction. We also know that we are racing the full season and that extra set of rs will come in handy at some point down the road. Its a long season and still confident in the strength of our dual team and allies to take down the establishment.
DD - So where is the Aston? Why is it not at the training facility?
F - well i just got back from the flight and dropping it off at the track (livery posted). As you will notice once you get there, that i am not with the #23. I will not be racing this weekend (just the timing of my vacation to the michigan north country to visit mum). Although Autopolis is one of my better tracks and i am sad to miss it, it is what it is.
So anyone that wants to race the #23 Aston Martin this weekend can @ me at either number and ill let my crew chief know you are sitting in for me. Please do so by friday so the pts will count.
FYI - i left 1 set (and only 1 set) of rs in the trailer that are able to be used for this race to whomever wants to run the Aston.
