Gran Turismo 3 replay system!

Has anyone used the special replay system on GT3 that matches the footage with the music. Sometimes I disable all but one of the music tracks, then do a 10-lap race in arcade mode. Then I go on to the replay then pause it, select the thing that matches the footage with the music, then I mute the sound effects so there is just the music. Then I watch the replay. Has anyone else done this...

I'm not sure what you're talking about but one of my favorite things about GT3 replays is the "random" selection, which automatically switches from car to car just like real car race. You don't have to switch views at all..the computer does it for you...makes the entire experience a lot more passive 👍

GT4 uses the same system but it's F:censored:ing retarded. It switches from car to car, but does so way too fast...and it also messes with the colors and stuff 👎 I guess it's supposed to be trippy or something but I just find it annoying

GT4's replay system is completely messed up (I agree). The colours are shocking and stunning even, but it tends to lack sense in a realistic racing game. As I recall, GT3 does that too, but with more time per camera angle...

As for the subject itself, I don't remember ever seeing it... I think I will try it out!

Sure it's not for everyone...but at least the option is there in GT3. And another cool thing about 3 is they have an option so that when you press from one car to the next, it slowly fades camera views (know what I mean?) instead of immediately jumping from one view to the next. It's more visually pleasing (to my eyes, anyways). Again, they changed this in GT4...

It's worth trying out. One of the best things about GT3 is the replay system. Also the menus are a lot easier to use....it doesn't take but a few seconds to navigate to any particular spot.
