Can anyone explain what the "Autopilot" code does for those of us who only have ARMAX and thus don't have the code?

I believe it gives the control of your car to computer.
It's not B-spec though because you have no control over the car

I recently had to sell my Logitech G25 so, I suck at racing with a joypad.

Ok, here it comes..
I have no idea if it works because I can't test it on real PS2, but at least I really tried my best and triple-checked everything.
This code seems to be a custom made sub-routine so I have no idea how it works, there was only one address which had to be changed.

Remember to try it on arcade mode as well, in single race and in time trials!

Use L1 to turn it on and R1 to off (not sure if it can be turned off)
Also it's possible you need to hold L1 until the race starts.

I just wished my keyboard was USB so I didn't have to type it in with my PS2 controller x)

Edit: I tested the code, it does work, though it is more like an "aircraft autopilot" rather than an AI car, because it doesn't seem to have any AI routine for example overtaking, ala B-Spec.

To be honest, I'm surprised there isn't a "Maxed B-Spec Save" out considering how heavily played this game is!

Yep, that's exactly what I was thinking about, it makes your car just like the other AI cars.
If you watch carefully how they react between each other you'll see that they seldom do any overtaking, it's mainly the player's car they're keen to overtake.

Would you like to try the code on license tests? I've been wondering how the computer clears those stopping tests

I'll probably start searching codes for the B-spec scores in next few weeks because almost everything else is found already.

those codes (mainly copputer ai and passed missions) don't work with my swap magic 3.8 coder and gt4 pal (original) but when i run game witch cheats... i see this: "please insert ps or ps2 format disc"
any ideas? maby these codes cannot be read by sm3 or PAL version? is those hex codes right?

oh dude you do realize that the Swap Magic disc is a SINGLE LAYER DVD and the GT4 Disc is a DUAL LAYER disc... this is why it doesnt work lol... you gotta go search for "GT4 DVD5" I had to extract my disc, then run a downsampler program for the GT4_1.vol file and then recompile it and then burn it to a single layer disc I thought that too I was like wtf then it came to me that the laser isnt calibrated right for a dual layer when it calibrates for the Swap Magic disc first.

hi there...i have a modded ps2 and gt 4 ntsc version (greatest hits). I tried some of the codebreaker codes from codebreaker.com and some codes like 1 trillion credits didn't work. I also noticed that the codes I have for gt4 ntsc (from codebreaker.com) look different from the CB codes listed on this forum? the master code listed here is only 1 line and master code on my codebreaker disc is 5 lines....how's that possible? can any one here confirm if the CB codes listed on page 1 will work on my CB v9.2 disc for ntsc gt4. thanx in advance!

I've tried the codes, but it looks like none of the codes work for the Greatest Hits Version of GT4, I've tried Gameshark and Codebreaker codes from the websites, but no luck. Looks like I'll have to sell it. I probably need version 1.1 codes. If anyone has the Greatest Hits version, hope someone can hack it.

No seriously, there really are two different versions of the game and it's not a problem to convert the codes.

It's the American Version and it works with one of the Enable codes on the first page of this topic.

hey to any one who can help from what i can see it has been some time pass for gt4. But i would like to know if any one out there has any links to action replay codes for this game like chassis codes, change car name codes, engine codes and like full body parts codes the game is ntsc/uc and i'm using a game shark i tried the test collection with a max converter but it did not work CAN ANY ONE HELP ME

I play GT4 quite a lot, and lost my memory card which I had completed 89.6% with a high win percentage and loads of golds and cars and whatnot. I've managed to get back to 26% but now I have twin boys I just don't have the time to do all the endurance races. These codes will come in very handy as I have an xploder v4, which i had for reion free dvd viewing, and just so happens to have a cheat function. Thanks guys for putting the time in to share them. Hope they work, will come back after I try them.

Ok, had a bit of trouble with the codes, sat for ages punching them in and they didn't work. Found some codes through google, but only free cars and full garage, which have worked brilliantly and saved me about a year in game time! Would it be possible for someone to kindly translate these codes for my Xploder V4 please?

I'm mainly after the Black F1 car, and the ability to create better custom races, ie. 20 lap family cup races, with tyres and fuel, then I can set the AI according to the car and have some fun races.

I'd also like the ability to pick any car in any of it's colours, mainly the rare second hand stuff, and stuff that has no place to be bought. Also would like the mileage reset on some cars.

Am I asking too much? I would be most grateful, as I don't know where else to ask!

anyway, starting a new game save...and noticed none of the license and mission codes work, with the new Master code on the first page? so, are they other codes to get all licenses gold and cars, plus, all driving missions complete? even the codes at us.codejukies.com don't work! I have GT4 greates hits NTSC. thanks and hope someone answers this!

Hey how is everyone doing this new year?! I was wondering if anyone has been able to make heads and tails of speeddrifter's b-spec table and make it where u can input gameshark codes using it. I've tried putting the values in as 4 and 8 digits as well as using the same memory addresses but yea I'm stumped. Any help will be greatly appreciated! Shoot..probably already a code somewhere..gosh knows Ive looked...lol. Thanks again!

Hey captain fast! I might be able to help ya out. The codes ur getting off of gameshark.com r for the NTSC version of GT4.

To go from ntsc to pal just use a calculater in HEX to add AE00(zeros) to the memory address of the particular cheat.

For example:
