It's my project website, for the past few weeks. The FAQ is under construction, for a good reason. I update it once or twice a week, I just majorly updated it ago several moments ago.

Please comment.

Maybe the site answers some questions so can a moderator sticky this, maybe?

Nice site, for the FAQ, one of the the things that would help wopuld be the menu translations, it's been done here but I'm sure there will be other people out there who havn't seen them. Also you could confirm that GT4P ios not going to be availabe outside Japan and China, some people just need to keep getting told. Basically cover all the dumb stuff first and move onto questions anywone might ask.

This was going to the FAQ post but when I finished the thread was closed so ill post it here.

1. Not sure if your talking about 200 compactability mode or 900 degree mode so I will talk about both...

a. The 200 degree compactabillity mode is great ! it allows you to play all other old games that support a forcefeedback wheel.

b. The 900 degree is even better ! well GT4: Prologue is only game out there at the moment but their is an option which allows you to play games that run at 900 degree anyways (not as perfect as in prologue but you could still try it)

Code is --- Select + R3 + Right paddle Shifter (behind wheel) ---

Another Code is full Force Feedback (GT3 uses about only about 70%.)

2. Well if you play GT3 with the wheel it has a different feedback then if you play Prologue. In GT3, its much tuffer to turn but you only have to turn 90 degrees each way. In prologue the wheel is MUCH more looser (a little less like a real wheel w/ power steering). So it really depends on the game so how strong the forec feedback is.

3. So far i haven't seen minor problems with it.

a. There is no grip on the shifter (not bad but it would have matched the wheel which has a lot of grip)

b. There is no rubber whatsoever on the pedals either.

c. The grip handles (that attach to the table) could have been a little bigger to fit a larger sized table but it fits most tables.

You have the car shown below described as; "Nissan Skyline R33 or R32 in Prologue."

It is the 1994 Nissan Skyline GT-R V-Spec II (R32 obviously).

i'd hoped on that the release of prologue, but it isn't coming to Europe (me Dutch) i'll have to wait : P everytime i see screens of gt4 i wanna play too

I'm Dutch too. Where are you from? And have you ever iLinked? We get together for iLink racing quite often, the next big event is in Venlo, 2-4 April ...

where you come from? i've heard from this events but i saw it quickly, in a magazine dunno if it was that one but.. do you have to sign up? The place where i live... its a shame nobody plays Gt-series, not as me i don't have a race/drift buddy, tough i liked that always cool

Does anyone know if the Japanese release date for GT4 is jumping around like it is here. It's now August 2004, but I would probably bet a lot of money that's not when the game will come out. It just won't happen. Call me pessimistic, but It seems GT4 Prologue will be the only new GT game europe will see for a VERY long time. (And you have to get an NTSC-PAL converter just to play that!)

:-D Glad to see that Gt4 is coming to europe without the need for convertors. I'm buying it just to sample what's in for GT4, if i live long enough to see it, (I'm getting on a bit you know, 16 tomorrow) If perhaps you dont get that subtle joke, It mena sI want all the GT i can get until GT4 actually cpmes out, if ever. Shame there's not many cars that I really know (not being a great fan of Japanese cars) but anyways, If the Grand canyon track is on there along with new york city, i'm sure that'll keep me busy for a while in the same way the GT concept games did. After all, that time trial tournament I did In GTC Tokyo-Geneva, on Autumn ring was quite a long-running event!

Awww, poor you.

Gran turismo 4 Prologue is basically a big demo of GT4 that contains license tests and a small arcade mode.

There are about 64 cars and the five new tracks Tsukuba, Fuji, New York, grand Canyon and Citta di Aria feature, though many claim there is more on the disc than meets the eye. ;-) It is basically a taster and contains license tests to give you a head start in GT4. Hope this explains it for you.
