You might be aware a little game called Gran Turismo 5 is coming out soon.
We are starting a racing league and club in Australia and New Zealand (everyone invited), we are trying to get all Aussies and Kiwis together in a "racing club" setup. There will be a host of events, from casual races, weekly races to full season leagues with endurance races included.
To start we will host casual and weekly races to get everyone warmed up and together, and the setup is like this.
The races and registration will be posted in our forum, in the GT5 section, if you are registered for the League you will get notified of upcoming events (via PM) and will be provided the link to register to the Race.
Casual Races: Posted in our forums, free for all events with fun in mind, silly races and funky events, giggles abound.
Race to Nirvana
Weekly Race Series: 1 event per week with the following format.
3 days before the race day, we will open a practice server for you to meet other racers and get used to the track, learn some tips from other races, tune your car and plan your race (this is completely optional, and we understand people don't always have the time).
On race day, the server will be open 1 hour before the race, so you can go in and warm up or join at your leisure, 30 min before the race practice starts (qualifying on races over 15 laps) and rules go on. 5 min before the race track is closed and you should go to the toilet and get your beer. Race starts and away you go.

Race rules/regulations may vary for each race and they will be posted in our forum.
LEAGUE RULES
Races posted now are just casual events for testing our system, once we have all kinks ironed out, we will start the full season league, with a point system and a full season, including longer races (40-50 Laps) where pitting and strategy will take part. This will run in parallel with the other events, so if you can not commit you can still race on a casual basis.
We also have our own Stig, so you can ask questions and see how you fare against the god of racing in the Top Gear Test track leaderboard.

We will also have our own NGG Top Gear Test Track Lap times and to make this realistic, you only get 1 attempt with 3 laps to show us how fast you can drive our reasonably priced car (Car has not been confirmed yet since it depends if Kaz puts it in the game or not, if not, we will choose a car).
Reasonably Priced Car Registration. (we will open servers for this depending on the demand and we will work with people schedules for this)
