Okay I did. It's good, but I toned it down to 408Hp. You mentioned to buy everything which adds up 600+ Hp on the FD. I don't need that much power to drift a 1054 Kg car.

i changed it a bit since then. Because i put weight on the back it was unfair and useless in tourney's. I took the weight off and let the two dampers on the rear down.

Very capable drift car. Ran an easy +23,000 points on Trial Mountain, although I'm sure a better driver could smash that without much problem.

Anyone have a good tune for a rx-7 fc 90'
So far mine is

326hp
1245kg

Just need some good suspension and diff settings

both controller and wheel got their pros and cons. although controller is an easier way out in correcting errors but wheel gives the smoothest drifts.

also keep that in mind the first round of gtp h2h drift comp winner is also a wheel user ;)

Also even if they are people better with a DS3, they won't have near a big a grin on their face as when you pull off a perfect lap with a wheel :)

I go back to using a DS3 for online tandems as I'm still far better with it but over the weekend I was just bored and kinda thought it was alittle pointless and nowhere near as much fun just sliding around with the pad and went back to the wheel again for good even if I looked like an idiot getting tank-slappers and spinning off every second corner :)

There isnt much point using a ds3 and wheel as it feels way different so you cant adapt to the wheel. What you need to do is get either an ae86, preferably the ss version, or an s13 with a little power up. Chip and filter should do it.

Yeah, been using an S13 with twinturboCH's tune which is really good and have been getting decent enough slides with it and reasonably good around tsukaba and getting the hang of Susuka and linking autumn mini now.

Using a Z4m, TVR and AE86 too which are good.
Slowly converting the setups of all my other cars over from setting that were more suited to DS3 but I need to get mote consistent first before I can properly tune cars myself with the wheel.

That's not SAi's real setup, Community setups are completely different to personal setups.

That was a big d*ck move. You should've left it alone... Just sayin... :D.

Listen I drove an AE86 in real life with 5 speed manual and I have the DFGT and I just cannot use it to drift..partly because The Ebrake button is not easily accessible while turning the wheel. I use a DS3 which is actually not easy because you really can't accurately depress the Brake accelerator like you can with pedals.

SFX_Commodore
Make your own E-Brake. I use a DS3 with a elastic band and a old joystick, be creative. I couldn't stand button mashing on my G25.

Yeah, I should come out with something this weekend, I saw someone here create one using a pull wire attached to the gearbox , so when wire pulled, it pressed the e brake button on the g27 gearbox

Nervous about first post:embarrassed: But here goes..

(I use a DFGT personally, but recon it will work with other wheels aswell)

Base car: Buick GNX '87

Shopping list:
Comfort Hard tires.
All upgrades exept; Ridigity Improvement and Turbo kit. i personally also removed the Titanium race exhaust, since i felt it had more than enough power without it.
I would also recommend just getting the 5 Speed Close-Ratio Transmission.

In the end after Oilchange and so on you should end up with around 438bhp, 69kgfm of torque and 1302kg

LSD:
60
60
60

Suspension:
Height: -15/-15
Spring rate: 7.6/6.3
Dampers (Extension): 5/5
Dampers (Compression): 5/5
Anti-Roll Bars: 2/4

Camber: 3.0/0.5
Toe: 0.00/0.20

Feedback, whether its good or bad would make me a happy person, since im stilll in the learning process on both drifting And tuning: p

Can someone please give me the drift settings for Blitz please? I had hard time drifting on many cars, it seems i am having problem with my settings. Currently I'm using Trusmaster T500 RS.

Hahaha you set the front angle in + 0.05 :D
If you seen ever a drift car in real you know that is - 0.15 or big is the best because you got some extra wheel degree...
