LOL, I'm a believer too now about the plane moving. I was looking at the wrong part. But when the car is driving backwards, for sure the plane seems to be moving. 👍

Thought I'd add that that 747 was also used in the James Bond film Casino Royal. It's either a 747-100 or 200.. can't remember now.

I wonder what dave chappelle would say to this plane dicussion...
maybe: "what the f...? plane moving? i don't give a damn, man! gimme that bloody game and or I'll sic rick james on you"

no hard feelings...
I am also quiet excited about gt5 and understand that people look for every little piece of news...

It's a -200, but 100 (rare) and 200 look almost exactly the same anyway, and that paticular 747 has been modified.

So dudes(alba, Famine, Denur, and all others who attended the event), how was the Sony EX4 for GT5? Would you buy one? Or did they just put it there to advertise a new TV?

I actually have one. It was fine with GT5 except the version they got there was pretty small for transport purposes obviously. It's pretty good for the money (which I got one in a good deal).

I wasn't very pleased by the screens they had at the show, though it seems they had 4 newer models and about 10 older ones.

btw alba, I came round to watching all the videos you and Denur did. Great job! Thanks for putting up with that task!

Oh, ItsYou :-).

@ Alba or Denur: since you couldn't hear car sound clearly, where there enough inputs from force feedback that could be compensated for the lack of sound (how the car felt while driving).

I got all the feedback I needed to drive without sound (except for when to shift ;) ). Look at this video and play it without sound for good comparison. At 0:54 I almost lost the car, but the FFB told be that was about to happen and I could correct. Very impressive input through the wheel. 👍

Thx for reply ;), that is truly a great news ;)

The rallying looks cool and all, but it seems as though the invisible barrier is still in place to keep one from going off track and really running into some havoc :indiff:

0:55 that dust in the wind effect again, but this time the dust is thicker. Changes everytime I see this effect

I wonder why the wind blows always in the same direction? Can someone show me that I'm wrong. I saw 3 gameplays on this track and always dust is running to the left.

Don't take this personally as it might indeed be a correct observation, but I guess when we collectively arrived at the point where we notice these kind of things it's time for the game to be released ASAP.

Maybe that is the way that the weather has been set for the demo. It's like how the way the day/night cycle transitioned in the Toscana videos. I would have thought the wind direction would change, but then again I don't think it would affect the gameplay too much if it didn't.

I have one question to those who attended and played/saw the game in action.

How does it compare to Prologue regarding jaggies? Does it seem to have improved AA? I always thought the jaggies kinda were the only downside to Prologue's graphics.

in Cockpit view the shadows didn't look good in terms of AA. I'm not sure if that's final already but that was indeed a downside on the demo. The rest, however, I didn't pay too much attention to any graphical flaws. To me it looks brilliant.
