There is, delays can and do happen and have been more than common place when GT is concerned. The GT5 will be released sometime around 2009. There is no way to go any further than that.
No, you assume it isn't going to be 2010, we don't actually know anything yet.Their latest chance is Christmas 2009. From the thing that KY has said "sooner than expected" we know isn't going to be 2010.
Yes, but we still don't know anything we can only make an assumption at this point. Also you may remember that he laughed when he was asked by a guy from gtplanet that the game was coming 2010.
No he didn't, he was talking about the GT5Moreover he said the game is going to be announced from their site and its going to be very quickly in the stores from that time.
The PS3 is doing quite well actually, console sales don't agree with your "sinking ship" comment. I suggest you back comments up and research them, the PS3 has outsold the XB360 this year and is closing in on the XB360's total sales pretty fast despite being released a year (and over in some countries) later.
As for SCEJ forcing Kaz's hand in rushing GT5's release, that'd be odd since Kaz is an SCE executive and corporate head of PD. Bascially he can be asked to time the release and I'm sure as long as that release date is after it's done he'll comply, but it's his call to make.
As for speculating on how many GT gaems the PS3 will see and when the PS4 will come out, do you think it is wise to base an opinion on speculation that has been added to speculation?
Please show me these figures, the PS3 has outsold the 360 every month in 2008 so far. The PS3 is gathering momentum the 360 is losing it. Ofcourse both consoles have followed the economy and dipped but the PS3 is still outselling the 360. So where are you getting this notion that the PS3 is selling half as many consoles? as for HOME, it's very much a basic feature but so what if it's getting poor reviews, it's not an integral part of the PS3 system it's just one ofmany features that is there if you want to use it.Two years in, still behind X360, selling half the number of consoles (since 360 price cuts), HOME getting bad reviews, LBP not selling well (though rated very high by critics), Sony denying reports of price cuts even for spring '09. I'd say those facts are enough to say that the situation does not look so good. I'm not saying that everything is a disaster, good games are coming out on the PS3 but the 360 is flying off the shelves after the price cuts.
True but then a lot people in the industry seem to think that this generation of consoles (PS3 in particular) will last longer than others. As for the PS4 remark, its not just a wild guess. Its about the usual console generation lifespan. Personally I hate this generation of consoles, have a red ringed 360 out of warranty, a PS3 without GT and I just hate Wii.
Flawed or different, because there is a big difference in the two. Some developers are using the fact it's different as an excuse for sbelow par ports, other developers that are using the PS3 are loving it.Even the best console in terms of hardware, the PS3 is intrinsically flawed (poor GPU design, complex CPU architecture, data bottle-necks...).
And do you genuinely believe that the PS3 will not be around in 2 years time? Do you? Nothing suggests it will be on the decline gone by then let alone gone.Kaz is a person with a lot of authority, but that would be of no use if there is no console to launch games on, he is responsible for decisions and consequences beyond GT, so I do believe that GT5 can be rushed if required.
That was a joke right? Just checkin...Has kaz ever lied?

Maybe not in August and November, I'd have to check the figures again, but they certainly did in June and July. I wasn't referring to sales all year round.NPD, August-November. Both consoles have'nt dipped, sales are higher compared to last year (at least for 360 and Wii).
Still spculating, no fact. With this kind of user base, I dont think so.
No thery arn't, just because it's different doesn't mean there arn't any great games being made for the PS3. There's plenty.Whatever it is, PS3 owners are the losers in the end, whether it is a hardware flaw or marketing strategy/PR flaw. I'm only concerened with the final product.
Prices drop over time nd it's usually linked to demand, the 360 is now being sold for only £135, there's a reason for that. It's because they want to sell more, they want to sell more because they are being out sold. Despite the price drop the360 is still being out sold. I repeat, the PS3 is outselling the XB360 on a month to month basis. The Wii is selling the most, but the PS3 is outselling the XB360. So, do you have and facts to back up what you are saying or are you just going to speculate some more?Keep the prices at this level and it won't be.

Last time i checked this was a GT5 forum not the console wars.![]()
