I agree that needing something to reflect increases the 'realism' of the image. That said to prove your point you had to use an edited image. I know it's only minor edits in terms of contrast, but still.

I still stand by the fact that they could do with being a bit 'glossier' than they currently are. There are certain environments where certain cars look amazing but a large majority of them, in my opinion, are still a bit more matte than they could be.

To each their own though. 👍

Its a tad incorrect because the specific model featured in-game is the 3-Door Evoque Dynamic coupe while the real life picture is the 5-door Evoque Pure.

This perfectly explains my point in terms of lack of reflections. Look at the ferrari 599, the fiat, the SLR and the McLaren. They lack the reflection of the sky more than anything.

If you get a GT model in the right environment with certain things to reflect then yes, they look great, but in 'normal' environments they just don't have that sheen that real life cars seem to have. They look dirty rather than just cleaned.

EDIT: and the lack of reflection on the veyron is comically bad! /sarcasm/

That's abit of unfair comparison because the car in-game isn't in a chrome color like the real life one is.

GT5 had better reflections. One of the visual downgrades in GT6 :/.

1st anniversary of this thread, yay! Well almost but still. GT updates are slow and even then it ussually only contains VGTs. I take my time.

Anyway, this time im out of town. So with the exception of Alpine, which will be credited to @Carffeine , the real life photos will be pulled from the net. Enjoy yet again!.
