Probably. Part of me hopes that they mucked up and have just released the update with the new content but I doubt it.I just got it myself. Is this just the update to get the game up to the PS5 Pro and all PS5 users have to abide to it even if we have it or not?
Someone in PD is sweating heavily right now.Someone clicked the "release update" button instead of "release update maintenance post"?
There was also no maintenance announcement all week. That's weird. The GT7 Community website is still up, meaning there's no maintenance happening right now. It gets more and more confusing.
Yeah seems more like a pre load.It sounds like the download slows down right at the end so this may be just them allowing the update to be pre installed because it's so big
I'm pretty sure there's other games that do this
And it’s only 8 degrees celcius in Tokyo as we speak, so it’s not because of the weather.Someone in PD is sweating heavily right now.
Is this the kind of thing where someone can change the date of their system to get a sneak peak??Yup, only downloaded, installation will be available tomorrowView attachment 1406452
Nope.Is this the kind of thing where someone can change the date of their system to get a sneak peak??
Not really, a couple of gb at most.Maybe they have to update a bunch of assets for PS5 Pro update? Any other games with PS5 Pro updates had big updates like that?
The update is also for the regular PS5 so I don't think it's just a texture patch8K textures could account for increased size...
well the PS5 Pro will use the same game version obvThe update is also for the regular PS5 so I don't think it's just a texture patch
I don't think it's this IMO. Car textures in particular are already going to be super high detail for Scapes, and updating track textures to 8K is completely missing the point of why PSSR exists.8K textures could account for increased size...
Kinda doubt it since they both have different hardware IDs... But I could be wrong.well the PS5 Pro will use the same game version obv
not even PS4 Pro had its own unique separate versions of the gamesKinda doubt it since they both have different hardware IDs... But I could be wrong.
