I wonder if its a licensing thing that the only Hypercar/LMDh rep is the Toyota GR010...

Iirc GT has a deal with IMSA but so does Forza and Forza doesnt have a problem putting in IMSA cars. But with WEC, due to the Le Mans Ultimate game, could it have exclusive rights? So if you include one Hypercar/LMDh from WEC you can't include anymore that it can race against like how non F1 games can only put 1 modern F1 car in the game?

Could be completely wrong but a lack of LMDh/Hypercar rep EXCEPT for the GR010 makes me curious.
I bet they already got 963 and it will be a cover car for the GT8

New wheel sets are always welcome.

32 gb is quite a lot considering there is no track and that I will make use of only 3 out of 5 cars in this update, as the Merc will very likely cost 20 million credits.

I'm kinda missing my old PS4 now

What do you mean with true 4K? Original PS5 is already at True 4K... also textures I don't think could be this heavy. This is really odd, hope it makes sense tomorrow
I could have swore it was a checkerboarded lower resolution (or am I confusing that with Sport?).

992 Turbo hell yes.

The Jimny though, a lot of people will not be happy lol
It's actually kind of embarrassing and maybe a little lazy tbh Copy and paste and let's pass it off as new car to bump up the car count.

That said, I don't care because Kaz and the team have given me my beloved Escort RS Cozzie and I'm absolutely delighted and the 911 Turbo is great too. Got no interest in the others.

No new track? Well well I'm surprised to see that - I was all aboard with the buzz this morning about what the giggadies could represent.

Let's see what's actually shown tomorrow.

(Still hopeful for Porsche 928 S4GT, 944 Turbo, Boxster S and 968 Clubsport)

The new Turbo and Scrote Cozzi will be fantastic to baz around in though 😎👍👍👍👍😎😎

I'm only pissed off cause we're forced to download such a massive update even without a ps5 pro.

The next big ? is what engine swaps we will get.

Will the Subies finally get something.
Maybe a hefty engine for the Volvo Brick...

No word on PS5 Pro enhancement. Will they postpone it FURTHER?! I would assume PDI making it a headline feature if it was in the update. Maybe they install the files in this update but want to test more before activating it?

Yes we need the T5 for the 240. Or maybe LT4 from Corvette - also a popular choise for a sleeper brick in real world.

Yeah PlayStation Blog post went out later

The Mission X has the potential to be crowned the fastest road-legal car on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, a theory that can be put to the test in Gran Turismo 7
Oh god, I fear a truly terrifying TT is coming.

And they can keep their 500K, no way am I doing that Nations race around the N24.

Would still leave out the one real car without a cockpit: the Toyota s-fr racing concept :P
That's using "real car" a bit loosely, as it, like the standard S-FR, was only a concept that may or may not have actually had a fully-modeled interior. While I could find video of the interior of the standard S-FR, I could not find any of the racing concept version.

Ford Escort RS Cosworth 1992: Nice addition, very welcome
Mercedes-Benz W196R 1955: Ok an old F1. Another 20M car?
Porsche 911 (992) Turbo S 2020: I prefer this "standar" model than the GT3RS
Porsche Mission X Concept 2023: This is not a Vision Spaceship GT style?. But if you add a Porsche Concept why no the 911 GT1 1998, Macan, Panamera. Cayenne, 928 or Boxster first.
Suzuki Jimny Sierra JC 2018: I never understand why PD do this.

Ok update i guess, nothing impressive but some good cars in there.

I'm content with all the content they've pushed out since I bought the game in summer '23. Even the cars I don't care for, because there's some wierdo out there who is going to LOVE that hunk of metal and glass.

The Sophy update and VR2 and physics improvements have ENTIRELY JUSTIFIED THE GAME in my mind. Anything they patch in from here on out is frosting.

That said, I'm EXCITED AF for the 1955 F1 car. Any real life race car, and I want to try it.

Just got the Porsche 962C(?) from the Legend dealer last night to go along with my 787B and R92B

Think those expecting a Pro update are going to be disappointed , me included, they would have said it was in the update surely but no mention of it.
