Oh what? Well. Well there you go, looks good, but no Nike ONE, and no Midget II, I'll still post this because I spent 15 minutes on it:

I don't want a lot for Christmas
There is just one thing I need
I don't care about the all-new,
weird Ferrari V-G-T.
One Kei truck I want to own
More than you could ever know
Make my wish come true
Add the Daihatsu Midget Two

Wow, definitely didn't expect 5 cars! Nice to see a new Alfa in the game, my highlight of the update. Would have preferred the Bugatti Type 37A that was also in the datamine over Chiron or a EB 110. I personally don't really care for the Corvette but it's really highly requested car, so happy for those who do. Celica is pretty decent.

Sorry for being late to the party, but does anyone have any guides for winning the Neo-Classic at Willow Springs? I know I can change difficulty to Easy but I really prefer doing it on Hard. It just seems impossible and the AI is just way too far ahead.
Key is finding the right car. I found a nissan GTR 500 GT3 or something like that from 99 and I was just walking through that race where I was killing myself trying to get podium and failing with a old porsche and the audi quattro rally monster! GTR 500 was like on rails where I really had to battle all the off camber corners with the previous cars. Very fuel efficient so I believe I maybe could do it with fuel mapping 1 though fuel mapping 2 is convenient. However the odd thing I want to recall is doing better lap times in the porsche and the audi but the ai may adapt the pace depend on the car type you use??? I didn´t get any clean laps so I was lapping about 1:10 and still won with 25 seconds on first attempt while not pushing like a mad man :)

Guys remember this post I made a while back I told you it meant something with the C8 corvette. :sly:

Honestly don't expect too much like new track , at best those new layouts even those are not 100% for sure

also this pretty much confirms that there will be more C8's in the future which is great

Just a minor change.

They update the page of GT Vision with the new aditions and Copen now has description of the car.

If you want to use the museum as proof, you'll need a whole lot more cars to show up than just the C8. They show off plenty of cars ingame in one way or another, doesn't mean they're coming.

The best actual omen for the C8 was it showing up at GTWS, but even that didn't necessarily mean anything.

Else, I look forward to the Peugeot Type 2.

Why do I get the feeling that this set of cars was purposely witheld from launch and have been done for 10 months? I don't know why but I can't shake this feeling.
I understand that feeling, there is a precedent for adding cars a long, long time after they're scanned (especially if they win a Gran Turismo Award ). There's no way of knowing how long a car's been finalised for (physics, lighting, LOD etc), but it's logical for their model that many cars sit mostly finished and saved for a future update or set aside for the next game. If PD are still averaging 70-80 cars modelled per year as they seem to have done since GT5 Prologue, then for every three-car-update, two more cars are saved for GT8's launch and one for GT8 updates, I would guess.
Nice selection of cars, let's see if they finally bring the needed avalanche of events and things to actually do with them.
I hope for more than five races this month too, because with our current 165 races, it'll take seventeen 8-race updates (or 8x17-races for an avalanche) for World Circuits to match the 301 events in GT Sport's GT League, and still not thoroughly use half of the game's cars.

Probably because you're a chronic pessimist!

If they've only shown up in the game files in the past few updates, probably a safe bet they weren't finished until recently. Not everything PD does is a conspiracy to drip feed and wind people up.

Other than the Ferrari all of the cars are again from before the game released so it's pretty reasonable to assume they were already done, or at least mostly done. We'll never know for certain though.
and still not thoroughly use half of the game's cars.
That will always be the case if all they keep adding are generic "WTC" races which only have a PP limit. We need far more events with tight restrictions like the old games which restricts each one to a certain bunch of cars.

Probably because now that you cannot say 'GT7 should have more recent cars' you are grasping for some other negativity?

Well I wasn't really using anything as proof I saw the c8 zo6 on that picture and I thought it meant something that's all.

In the end we're getting the C8 that's all that matters.

How on earth is "Nice selection of cars" not positive?

He's quite clearly just being obnoxious because you aren't almost literally just fanboying on GT7. Which apparently you need to.

As for these cars, this is probably going to be the best selection of them all, not just because of the quantity but because almost all of them are significant and popular one way or another. Ugly duck for me being, obviously, the VGT.

Hopefully we do get the championships this game critically needs.

It was a guess but you still called it right, enjoy a brownie point on me :).

And yet another one who cannot write anything positive about the game even if you hit him over the head with it.
And yet another person who for some reason cannot comprehend that most opinions aren't absolute, a person can make a statement that contains both a positive and negative opinion on something, it's almost like between absolutely loving something and absolutely hating something there's a huge middle ground.
