Gran Turismo 7 Livery Editor - General Discussion Thread

Learned about Arcus Air - in the 80s very infamous within car racing in Europe. Business model was next to "normal" charter flights, to fly drivers between different racetracks in General Aviation planes. Heared a few stories like Dieter Glemser from Ford, 1974 close to winning the DRM, stating in a bad weather flight "If we now all die, BMW will win the championship! "

Arcus air exchanged their services also for sponsoring, like on the 1980 ETCC winner E21 or at Jochen Maas Joest Porsche 936 at the Nürburgring 1981.

I've had a 1/43rd of this car for ages, since first finding out about Sabine driving the ring taxi, I've not been able to find out any other information about it though. Supposedly from 1994 DTT series, Group N. The Die-cast of the car isn't quite the same as the only photo I found of the car.

All a mask, so the Warsteiner logos are metallic.

This is cool. It's this sort of thing that keeps me interested in creating and sharing decals and liveries. Just a search for a decal leads you down a path of some pretty amazing stories on the history of various race cars along with the people and businesses that supported them. And then trying to do it justice in creating a replica or original livery for them.

I learned about it in my feed. Here is the link, unfortunately only in German:

And you are right, this is also for me motivating and a good path to find one or another gem which I can try to recreate.
