In 2023 we did get RS5 DTM in 5 car update
In 2024 we did get Toyota GT-One in 3 car update

I predict that we will get some kind of „modern” race car. Nissan R390GT is my lucky guess

Other than that it will be a standard update with 3 or up to 5 new cars. Maybe Ferrari 599 or 812. Maybe Corvette C5.

Probably three cars: One modern supercar (maybe the Ferrari 812 since it‘s been on the datamined list), one regular car and a race car (maybe Lancia 037, which has also been on the list? We haven‘t had a new rally car in a while)

From the 15th anniversary list, we're still missing some cars. I think we'll see (some of) them make their way to GT7 before the updates stop.

https://gran-turismo.fandom.com/wiki/15th_Anniversary_Cars

What's missing still:
  1. The Cizetta Moroder v16T
  2. Audi R8 LMS Ultra
  3. Shelby GT500
  4. Honda HSV
  5. Lexus IS F Racing concept
  6. Lotus Europa
Also, we're still missing one of the GT5 stealth cars, The R10 TDI

I think we're going to get one of these in the next update.

The Cizeta would be great, one of the most interesting supercars ever imo

I think we will finally get the AZ-1, C5 maybe a new Ferrari and 6 engine swaps. 3 new events highlighting the new cars. Although it is probably time for a new track I don't think there will be one. (I hope I'm wrong about that)

Since we're on a run of getting boxy hot hatches, why not include the MK2 GTI 16V in the next update
Because it doesn't exist in any form. If we get another VW Golf, it will be the either the Mk4 Golf, the MK4 Golf touring car, or the Mk6 Golf R. Those were in GT5/GT6

Why not? Because GT7 has several holes in the Golf lineup and the Mk2 is not a widely celebrated classic like the Mk1. PD has not been adding old hatches because they are “boxy”, but rather because they represent a unique combination of being relatively powerful and lightweight. The Mk2 had outgrown all that.

A Honda V8 swap in an Accord would be wild. ;)

Sorry I am old xD I was thinking about cars from early 90s to recent years
I FEEL SEEN. #1960sBaby

Does this qualify as the ugliest SUV?

the similarities are amazing both in looks and function...

View attachment 1434150IF THIS WILL BE REALITY I WILL BE A VERY HAPPY PERSON!!!!
First of all, thank you again @Nakano219 for a great feature, although this is more of a autoironic than a useful one.
Second, given our obsession for tracks, I thought that you included automatically a track in every random prediction, as I got CGV in my result.
(Added later: @Nakano219 I remember that in old versions, I could also select the races manually, how can I do it now?)

Speaking of predictions:
4 cars, of which 1 Hagerty, 1 BC, 1 BC+UCD, 1 UCD only.
Geographic repartition: 2 Asia, 1 EU, 1 US
Given that March is nicknamed "Audi update" and "Group 2 update", Audi R8 LMP seems to fit the previous pattern, going in Gr. 2 similarly to the GT-One? (although it was argued here that it should be Gr. 1 because of a series of reasons I actually can't remember 100% now). Being from 2000, it would go into Hagerty, iirc, although its second iteration and following would go into BC. However, going against the pattern of Gr.2 in March, I'd expect instead the Audi v8 quattro Gr.4, which won 1990 and 1991 DTM. The reason I expect it to come is that DTM events only had 19 cars, as if a car wasn't ready. With the end of the triplet of races I thought that this ship had sailed. However, they showed that these special events can be added in weeklies for a fourth time, so why not add a fifth DTM race (@Maggiore or Deep Forest) in the week of the update?

Therefore, this is what I predict:
  • 1990 Audi V8 quattro DTM (gr.4) in LCD for the aforementioned reasons
  • 2001 Chevrolet Corvette C5 Z06 in BC and UCD as it is the only gen missing from Corvette lineup
  • 1992 Autozam AZ-1 in UCD to complete the ABC trio
  • 2023 Genesis GV80 Coupe in BC. It's unrealistic to ask for cars from the past year. However, we are now in 2025, so a 2023 car is not that recent anymore and PDi might have had the time to model it, plus with the collab with Genesis they might have had access to CADs and similar and this looks like a solid pick for a self promotion of Hyundai's premium brand. (Although, this role might be done by the N74 as a showoff)

Are we sure this still even exists? Don't think there has been much documentation outside of the small amount of pictures of it since it was first seen and if the supposed claims that its a reskinned DTM car from Opel are true (was a big rumor at the time), who knows if it even still has that body.

The 2024 MSR Mazda3 livery was a nice gift. I kind of expected we’d get it eventually. Whic( brings me to a couple other Mazda vehicles. The Roadster RF. Even though we have the MSR Roadster NR-A cars, the Roadster RF(in the datamine) should be equipped with the 2.0L. That makes a case for us seeing the Super Takiyu ST-Q(Super Taikyu Experimental) class #12 Roadster:

This car is being trialled to battle Super Taikyu GR86, GR Corolla and GR Yaris.
2025 Super Taikyu season begins March 23 at Mobility Resort Motegi. It makes a good case for adding the Roadster RF in March to a least begin adding future MSR liveries for that model.

Another Mazda is the MSR CX60 Rally Concept. Famine had initially posted this photo from the recent 2025 Tokyo Auto Salon reveal. Looks straight out of GT7.

Lastly, the Mazda Spirit Racing Roadster 12R. Tuned 200 hp, Brembos, RAYS and Bilstein dampers. The same way Toyota/Gazoo Racing are adding their latest performance cars, I can see Mazda/MSR continuing to introduce their latest JDM sporting cars.

March is going to interesting trying to predict a minimum of three cars more likely to appear than not.

Audi quattro 82 or similar that can look like the Audi B2 rally car. One anniversary car from GT6 [Honda HSV], no new tracks, a weird clown car that PD thinks it's a concept car, and a class C car because PD won't pay for a 5 year old GR.1/GR.2/hyper car license.

My prediction:
3 cars:
A returning JDM or Japanese Racing car.
A European car from the datamined list (would love to see the 812 or Vantage)
An American car new to the series.

No new track.
Scapes+engine swaps

?? What exists? The cars? Ya, they were in GT5 and GT6. If they were in the previous games, then they are 90% done. Will they make the move over? Who knows. I'm just saying that those cars are out there and that makes them more likely than cars that have never been in the series.

It's a profits and losses thing. If the license is still valid, and much of the car is done, then it's less costly to add compared to a car that has never been in the series.

I meant the car I bolded. Outside the few pictures of the time, there appears to be little about the car so I questioned whether it still existed.

It wouldn't make sense for it to be the 2001 year. It'll likely be 2004 if it ever returns as they have a GT5-era premium model to work with.
You are right, I put 2001 as it was the first C5 model that would end up in both BC and UCD. What trim is the 2004?

I read what you’re saying, but we have an ‘89 ZR-1 when we had the later models in past games. I get it about the Premium aspect and it does make sense, but I don’t know, man. As much as certain things seem logical, just seem like PD will do anything illogical… in the eyes of others.

@IngWeltschmer The 2004 model is also a Z06.

@05XR8 Yeah, but the C4 ZR-1 was a standard car in prior games. The pattern seems to suggest that when a car with a premium-quality model returns, it's usually the same year as the premium-quality one we had in GT5/6. The Gallardo, F430 Scuderia, BMW Z4 as a couple examples all have been the same model year.
