There's certainly nothing realistic about paying 52k for an S13. I can buy one of those (well the US market version, but still) for 8k used. cars that would otherwise be realistically in the 10k range are over 50k in this game. Tells us a lot about the market value of "credits".
I’m not sure who would ever pay 470k for a DeLorean, but that’s how much a used one costs in this game. But it’s totally fair that when you want to sell your DeLorean that you can only get 272k for it.

The used car dealership must be run by the mob.

Same as GTA I guess.

I’d say in original pristine condition that’d be about right. Here, in Australia good look trying to find one stock.
The least expensive one there at $26,000 AUD, converts to about $16,000 USD.

These are Hagerty guesstimates.

From October last year:
Hagerty’s average quote value for the S13 240SX is $15,600, holding pretty steady over the past couple of years. Average prices at auction are above $20,000 now, and the car is mostly popular with Gen X and younger owners. Watching Supra, RX-7, and Skyline values climbing, it’s not hard to see that the 240SX represents a stable investment that’s also really enjoyable to drive.
November last year:

A workmate, about 15 years ago, had a bone stock green S13 coupe w/automatic that his rally driver father handed down to him. It was bought nearly new. I think even that would be in the $50,000 AUD($31,000 USD) range today.

In GT7, the Mercedes Benz 196 W costs "only" 20 million. In 2022, it was auctioned for 135 million. I'm glad it only cost 20 million in the game.
But yes, so much for the game being based on original prices.

The prices are generally intended to be in a semi-realistic price range, and the yen is much weaker than USD/EUR/GBP, so it would look extremely cheap and unrealistic to a Japanese player who had previously seen GT prices in sort of yen level prices.
But it's just Japan, correct? So for example, in Hungary prices are still the same as for US/EU while the Hungarian Forint currently equals €0.0025.

This has been said a few times already, but I'm really liking how much more neutral cars feel on the limit with the physics changes.

Turn 2 at Bathurst is a great example. If you carried too much speed previously, the car would just understeer straight towards the wall, or snap oversteer. Now, all 4 wheels will slide and you can just grab another gear and power through it.

Previously it was either violent oversteer or violent understeer, now there seems to be a good middle ground between front and rear grip.

That’s not Vorrecht, what you mean is the 300 SLR Uhlenhaut Coupé, this one was sold for around 135 Million Euros, the one in the game is a Monoposto and the only thing I found was an auction from 2013 where it got sold for around 19 million pounds, which makes ot pretty accurate.
And 20 million is the highest in the game if you didn’t know, there’s nothing going over it because it would be too much for anybody to reach (even the 20 mill are pretty hard to get).

But yeah these cars like the DeLorean and the NSX also if i remember correctly, are priced too high compared to their real worth, but I think they didn’t wanted too make them too easy to obtain and feel that they are worth more to them or something like that.
