A new off-road course?

If it isn't a new course then this truck is pretty much useless in the game imo.
We can already drive off-road at Willow Springs. It’s not totally free roam, but there’s just no course layout

Well yes you can off-road, but I don't understand what they are doing, because this truck has no use, it will have to be used for a weekly event once and that will be it, they have wasted all that time and effort on something nobody wanted and will use, they could have spent that time making a GMA T.50 for example.

Last track was 7 months ago, it takes the team longer than that depending on how many are assigned to work on tracks judging by the posts here

Not necessarily. I just started getting into slow car races.
What I would do is buy all of the slowest stock cars in the game and give them racing hards then race them in a stock car with similar performance, like the Plymouth Ghia XNR.
The Unimog will slot right in with cars like the Sambabus, the Beetle, the Renault R4, the Fiat 500 and its Abarth variant, the Jeep, the Hiace and Himedic, and the Kei cars.
Not everyone’s cup of tea, but I’m enjoying it after spending most of my time with the Tomahawk X and Gr.3 cars.

PD is mocking us with the cover picture in today's trailer and with Unimog 'desert' route.... 🤡 🤡 🤡

I alluded to this earlier, we also have the most individual track locations ever yet people keep acting like not getting more....FOR FREE, is some kind of grand shortage. If thats not ungrateful entitlement....

For those in the back. Thats roughly 166 days..not counting holidays and weekends.

No. PD has the time, money and resources to do whatever WE think up, they just choose not to for the sole purpose of making US unhappy.
PD does NOT have the legal rights to place a copy of that car and many others that we want like LOTUS.
They may have all the money but without the licenses they cannot have the cars. It's the legal issues not that they want to make you unhappy

That was /s.

Day 1 customer here. It's getting stale. I would definitely pay for updates if PD actually made it worth it. Mom cars is subjective, but the CH-R isn't far off
I disagree with that. But that's not the reason why you're wrong. The reason why you're wrong is because your friend made a statement that claimed to speak for everyone, although both of you should know that there's no consensus about it. It's fine to share your own opinions, but don't claim to speak for others and don't dismiss other people's opinions by claiming that they're not fans of the franchise or that they must be new to the game. You're just going to get called out for that kind of behaviour.

For those of us who were car enthusiast kids in the 80s, the arriving of the 205 GTI is something great!
Im really eager to drive it on VR and if we are lucky enough we should have some Daily A with it in the following weeks.
I am having lots of fun at the moment with a custom grid full of small and cheap 80ies cars(Golf GTIs, R5 Turbos,Civics and Corrollas/Sprinters), and that 205GTI is the perfect addition for that...

I think the thing with the Unimog is that where would I even race it. It's like the TopGear Special Events in GT5 where all you used the Kubelwagen and Samba Bus was just for that specific race and that's it. It's a quirky, silly car but it'll just sit in a lot of players' garages whilst they grind in their 'samey' Gr.3 car in WTC 800 or whatever the trendy grinding thing is.

Also the fact that they keep bringing back cars we've seen in previous GT games that are more or less kinda just there instead of bringing in new (as in unique) models for their respective brands is kind of absurd and very uninteresting. Imagine a BMW Z1 instead, or even a new model M5 or whatever. Instead we kinda just get something that I personally think is more of a time period piece of older Gran Turismo games than anything that could be actually relevant. I could be wrong though, feel free to dissect my post piece by piece as is tradition here.

Also I feel like people underestimate how much non eSports people want some new racing cars as well. Part of the marketing is the high performance after all.
:D
no way there isnt a swap lined up for this out the gate. something crazy ala Willys Jeep

That's not what I was agreeing with him with, but carry on.

Kick rocks with that mom car stuff! Get your tuning in! We ❤️ the 80s. ;)

I’d almost forgotten about this car you know. Used to see them everywhere when I was a kid, there were at least three on our street. Not seen one in ages now though.

GT7 is currently off my gaming roster. I don’t think this update alone will quite pull me back in (and neither did the last one, I haven’t played at all so far this year!). Maybe in a few more update’s time there’ll be enough to chew on to make it worth setting up the rig again.

The 205 has to get the V12 from the 908 HDi. Can’t let the Golf have all the fun with the 20vT. :)

Edit:
I love that PD are adding liveries.

I was surprised the Roadster didn’t get updated last year.
