So, finished the first of the beginner but not winning by much.
Whats the best car for beginner?
Tune setup?

For beginner I used a modified SilEighty with slightly raised suspension and more power. It easily manages the beginner level.

Citroen C4 WRC 08. or win it for getting gold in the Loeb Challenge.
How would some one just starting the rally events be able to WIN it.

Any rally car you have even seen on TV will do. IMPREZA Sedan WRX STI spec C Type RA '05 race moded can go off road.

as posted above dont buy the citroen as it can be Won later
Set up = NO Changes beyond max down force . just max out after market parts till you hit the limit.
The Events are random generated so you can't learn the tracks order.
Instead learn how fast the numbers actualy mean that get shouted at you.

isn't the beginner one, the one that you need a FF on the second event? If I remember correctly, and I used a RM'd Honda Civic for all 3 events, just raised the ride height and set the car up like a rally car. (I was trying to get the maximum uses out of the minimum cars back then)

Rally is 3 events over 1 of each for snow ,gravel, tarmac
Beginner has a 245 BHP limit and 3 stages per event
Intermediate has 345 BHP limit and 5 stages per event
Advanced is rally cars with no BHP limits and is 8 stages per event. the prize car you win for intermediate if your lucky could be used to enter this event.

For the Begginer rally I used a Mini Cooper S. Tuned it to the HP and weight limits and didn't touched anything else. Easy thing 👍.

They're two different specials your talking about, he can win the Loeb challenge, then go back to GT rally with the C4 he wins by completing it!

Yes this is correct.

Also, the Loeb challenge is the only thing I've had to use ASM and the like in order to win/gold, helped an amazing amount and was really tough with all aids off. Suggest it if you're trying to with that Citroën.

You can get a Lancia Delta S4 by golding the Gallardo Trophy on A-Spec, it's probably one of the best rally cars in the game.

Just don't go overboard on the tune on it, I upgraded everything and the result was a 500hp snowboard. :/

I did it with a stock 207 GTI :embarrassed: and won the prize
But to gold all events you need something slightly better.

I'll try with the Ibiza.

I used an FT-86 way back when I did it. Get it for free from the FR Challenge. Also it fits the 246bhp limit dead on. (It says 245 on the description but when you look at the regulations it says 246 and the FT-86 can get to that exactly without use of the power limiter)

I use a Lancia Delta. Dont forget to turn off all driving assist. Turn off ABS if needed. Guaranteed 100% win (but this for gravel and snow. Use standard setting at Tarmac).

I think the car I used for the GT Beginner's rally was my Race Modified 1997 Honda Civic Type R. I just didn't want to spend too much money on a proper rally car or tune a proper rally car. The only tuning I do is if the car needs more power or a better setup. A true sim racer always has a proper setup for cars he/she owns in a game, but I always try to find a default, one-size-fits-all setup. I don't touch anything on the car unless I really need to. Just make sure to keep the car within the performance regulations in all levels of GT Rally competition.
