As for my case, in the recent months of lockdown amid the Covid-19 situation I was invited by various game communities and also my old friends to return to other games.
Hence, mainly I was playing either PC/PS4/Switch/Mobile games of various titles, which led to a significant reduced commitment in GT Sport. The addition of more games in my roster has also resulted in me getting burned out faster due to the more demanding action and knowledge in order to keep up with the latest content in other games.
I feel your pain amidst the "overshadowing" by other leagues trying to advertise in here without proper respect or understanding, which is unprofessional in a context. I hope this is much well address and resolved by then. Personally speaking by experience, your lobby is one of the few that I can perfectly fit in according to my time zone difference, and it's also one of my favorite for it's wide variety of themed race nights. On top of that, it's most consistent with professional, clean racing which I always encourage others and newcomers to participate as their first taste of proper racing (not bumming, ramming, crashing and/or unprofessional conduct).
One of the other reasons why I started to cut down on GT Sport is the joke roulette which is burning out my patience with horrible selection of cars, as well as lack of content within. Online official lobbies were starting to become a serious joke in GT Sport that I've completely quit racing in there, PD doesn't seem to bother doing any action at all and it's just appalling getting shunted and slammed into when you're already doing your best.
Sorry for the massive feedback-turned-rant, but if you have any lobbies open and wish to invite any 'free' players, please feel free to drop me an invitation if I'm online in GT Sport. I would be more than happy to join in for a few races, be it casual or seriousness. Honestly, half the time I'm either taking photos, or doing repeat AI races because random online lobbies are sometimes cancerous as hell especially in my region.
