I love Just A Day as well, but Soul on Display on the current game is awesome too...

I'm a bit disappointed from GT5 soundtrack, there are few interesting songs.

GT4 soundtrack was more interesting, and my fav song is from the 1st Gran Turismo:

Garbage - As heaven is wide

( still remembering all the times i raced on High Speed Ring with this song on the background )

Now on GT5 thanks to the 'custon soundtrack' i'm playing all the old songs from the other GT games, and it feels good : )

The GT5 one is not too bad to me, there are some good tracks, in the last two years I have enjoyed Drum & Bass music and there is a good few DnB tracks on it.
BUT the one good thing is with the PS3 you can have your own music playing as well so thats mainly what I listen too now! :)

GT5 is missing songs that make you remember the game like the previous GTs do.

That i can sign too. Too many songs in my point of view. Especially in menus (and even all they sound + - the same)

Well... my two favorites is "Solitude" by Norihito Sumitomo and "Current of the times" by Yudai Satoh.

The only GT5 track that I particulary like is "Blah" by Whitey... shame I can't buy it anywhere. :grumpy:

I highly recommend setting the songs with car noises mixed in from GT1 as your menu music in GT5. 👍

Have to say I don't listen to the tunes in GT5 much - found them a bit lacking first time so added a job lot of GT/2 menu tunes and some J-Pop for the menus.

But in GT4 - Really liked Spiderbait's Live in a Box

Just reminds me of 200 mile enduros at El Capitan -

The first song will always remind me of GPL from... ouch 12 years ago - gah back then you could only race 19 other people over the interweb
