They did in 2009. This is what a Toyota Executive had to say (in 2009):Did they reveal the reason?
It's a 4.0 V6. It seems to be the best of them but it is the best of a bad bunch.I don't know, seems like sound wise they've given the most love to the 2016 R18 as it actually sounds like the V4 in real (Not exact, but waaay closer then the 2011 one or the 908)
I think it is missing a lot of the metallic coarseness of a diesel. Under braking it is laughably bad with no ERS sound effects. Assetto Corsa is light-years ahead in this respect. The diesels sound pretty decent to me. The 2016 R18 sounds pretty accurate when accelerating, though I can’t say the same for under braking.
It's because at those moments the menu is running in the background, with those heavy animated scenes. They need to freeze the menu. Will they ever fix the "browse liveries" issue ? Whenever I browse liveries for some time, the PS4 Pro fan speeds up. I don't understand how browsing taxes the CPU/GPU? Others have mentioned the same thing.
Update looks great though, I'm all for more tracks. Wonder if Monza has different times of day.
mine does that too. Will they ever fix the "browse liveries" issue ? Whenever I browse liveries for some time, the PS4 Pro fan speeds up. I don't understand how browsing taxes the CPU/GPU? Others have mentioned the same thing.

IMHO I believe that realistic video games is what promotes a specific car to get better advertised to be sold. They did in 2009. This is what a Toyota Executive had to say (in 2009):
“Realistic video games make cars unnecessary.”
Yeah...
Amen, but it's a shame we won't be able to modify/tune the body work. Really wish PD hadn't abandon a lot of the customization they had in past games. Now back to topic SUPRA RZ SUPER PREMIUM!!!

There's already a track inside the oval. Go into photomode, you'll clearly see a road which could easily pass as a racetrack. It really needs to happen now. With the Kyoto Combination, and now the slicing up of Maggiore, I'm guessing Blue Boon Roval is pretty much a dead cert for future inclusion now!
MeWho is already speculating what the February update will bring
Does that really matter though when we've been waiting since GT5 for a Premium Supra? The cool thing about Toyota Supra is it's a widely famous "tuning" car, a stock Toyota Supra with stock bodykit is not the same thing.
The 4 new prize cars for GT6's Seasonal Events Supra RZ '97, Diablo GT '00, Ford GT '06, 2000GT '67 are all in this new GT Sport update.
Plus the Intermediate Seasonal Event Race has the Viper GTS '02 as the prize car.
Seems to me that GT6 prize cars is a good place to look for what cars might be added to GT sport in the future.
Yeah, it would be if we hadn't posted a news story about it 10 hours previously.Man, that's outrageous knowledge, right there. Kudos.

What is this?
60's Le Mans and a 2000GT coming back!!!
Wet dream for livery editors.
Make this a reality, I beg you.
I'm not giving them them leeway. Things that were promised in the past, never materialized. I won't hold out an ounce of hope for what was never promised at all.
Remember the damage system that evaporated? This was the GT5 promise.
They bank on the short memory of gamers.
I'm pleased and hope they continue with the monthly update trend. That's what this style of persistent, online-focused game needs.
Girl Power!These are great news!
Love Monza on PC2
One question:
“With so many classic cars in game now will the clutch pedal be finally available to change gears??”
