Don't get me wrong im glad they adding more content to the game but all of this should've been in the game in the first place. I understand they had to remodel the cars and tracks but damn after 4-5 years you'll think that most of the of the content we had in GT5/6 would carry over to GT Sport. I wish all of this was packed into the game from release. Take GT league for example, you get some new events play them in a few days and then gotta wait for another update which usually happens every month and a half or two. Meanwhile you can go on gt3 or 4 and play the crap out of that game and still have tons to do. It's kinda gt6 all over again somewhat. When GT5 came out with all those updates the game had tons of content and stuff. Then gt6 released and guess what.... They took all of it off and then try to add it back in via updates. The bspec, course Maker, and some other stuff. If they would've added all of the GT5/6 content into gt Sport (most of it) then we could've had some actual new content instead of returns.

Well the Japanese DLC (containing Supra and AE86) was released in May 2016 for AC, and the games that came without Toyota cars were released in 2017 - FM7 and NFS P. Like @mastretta_mx mentioned probably due to licensing changes.
Project Cars 2 has the GT86 and came out in 2017, however that could be a licence carried over from the original.

That aside AC is still being supported and PC2 is as current at GTS is, so it's not the only current title with Toyota road cars.

Meanwhile Forza get's "BRAND NEW CARS".... This is lame....
The difference is though, PD's actually trying to make these models as accurate as possible. I'm sure if they do an S15 it won't look like this....

I mean, it's not painfully obvious, but yeah, those proportions ARE off...and mind you, this is from an older FM game, reworked slightly for FM7.

Hey I'm trying to look for some info about the update. You are acting like a troll criticizing all the time with that irony. Me myself and I know a lot of people that play with road cars with non racing sticky tires. Maybe you may stay at the whining and crying thread instead.

This is a serious apology,

Don't mind me, I am just bitter.

I look back at what GT5 was when it came out, then GT6 came and it was just a bit lesser, but we still got a ton of stuff.

When GTS launched it was so sparse that I was convinced (and many were, not just me) that this MUST be a prologue of some sort. I didn't expect that. Now, it seems that they are slowly dripping the content back into the game, which I suppose one could argue is fine, but when will they reach the zero point that matches the release content of it's predecessors?

I would be FAR less bitter if the FT1 was the new Supra (I don't care when it launches in real life). I would rather have something that is a nod to the new rather than this strange feeling that they are playing catch up to get the old content in. That feeling there, makes me feel duped, and I don't like that feeling.

That's where it's coming from so I publicly apologize for raining on the parade (Seriously, I am not trying to be a dick).

But, about that ten year old promise of damage, for that I remain bitter.

Honestly I could do without major damage in this game. I'm sure they don't want to enforce wreckless driving, but they just want to go for that "battle scar" look on the cars if you hit something, which really doesn't bother me. As seen in that one video posted awhile back , I think having a door fall off and for it to not crumple at all though, is a bit unrealistic...I doubt hinges would break that easily IRL either. I mean, this isn't GRID 1, this is GT Sport...they've literally made us watch two videos on sportsmanship before going into "Sport" mode.

I'm waiting for 'visuals damage off' function. XD

Don't tell people where and what they can post.

If it's within the AUP then it's fine.

I had really good races in my B/S Slot with SR 99/99. Interlagos has been great for example. So, yeah, dive-bombing the chicanes will be a problem sometimes but one can also take the positive aspect of the track layout which is that you can overtake fairly without having to rely on the car in front of you making an error.

The McLaren F1 is in there? I knew it.

Also, I wish the XJ13 and P4 were N class cars if anything. They let the Vulcan in there.

If the old Ford GT is back they need to bring back the old LM Spec II as a Group 3.

Also, more GT League stuff is welcome.

Genuinely surprised at Monza, I figured Le Mans would be one of the first track additions given that we've had scapes available to us since day 1. I never really grew fond of Monza but new ribbons are always welcome. I'm hoping more Gr. 1-supporting tracks get added soon, there aren't many that play nice with that class right now.

I wonder if we'll get some new circuit experience events - this'll be the first time an all-new location is added.

In general it's really refreshing to see a game released in this day and age functioning (largely) as it should, and using the online connectivity just to expand its content. That's what the online era of gaming is supposed to be.

While I am excited for Monza I also already know that I will come across many „oops I missed my brake point and now use you as my brake“ players 🤬 this track is prone to be a divebomb and crasher festival.

However, the cars look awesome and I can‘t wait to trash the Supra around various tracks :)

I wish PD would create a Grade CR for classic race cars and separate it like the N class. For example, the 330 and XJ would be in CR 500 and a Toyota 2000GT Race Car would be in CR 200. Not exact, but it would be great for historic races, if they are ever added to the game.

My opinion:

The next update will close the Japanese classics of the 90s. I believe there will come Honda NSX, Nissan 370z, Nissan Silvia, Mitsubishi GTO.

Some Ferrari should come. Some Lambo too.

For now, I think the Super GTs will not yet come.

About the race tracks, I'd bet on Spa and Dragon Trail variations.

That would work too but the way the classes are now they should just be put into the N classes. Old race cars would be an odd fit there but otherwise they go to waste

Though the McLaren F1 will probably be the first car I pick up after I get the million credits which I assume it'll cost.

Monza makes since with the current car pack historic nature, hopefully with near future updates will get some proper tracks for the prototypes, such as Spa, Le Mans & Silverstone.

...or maybe Gr.1 retro, would fit better...

TBH with all of you, they need to get rid of Gr.X and get those cars in corresponding groups... Or make subgroups in that Gr.X... Don't get it if you look at safety cars, they are N cars, yet they are in this stupid group, also i3 in Gr.X, how can it compete vs Tomahawk or something...
