As you may know, Gran Turismo was a huge genre into racing simulation back in the glory days of GT. It felt special to have certain personalized garages and set of your own accomplishments of 24 hour races whether that be long endurance races and the such. Here's my top two of ideas that can help GT Sport immensely,

#1 Adding iconic fictional tracks that have been seen in previous GT titles

This bugged me that they still didn't implement their fan favorite tracks that are well constructed rather than the game's new "fresh" tracks. Don't get me wrong, I like the new tracks they designed into a real world perspective. But it felt somewhat over exaggerated, they could've had added a few tracks that should been brought back by popular demand like, Apricot Hill Raceway, Laguna Seca, Mid field raceway and many more.

#2 Bringing different cars back from previous titles

I might sound nip picky about the game, it doesn't mean I still hate it or attempt to not even play it all. Anyway, I think this is crucial to add into the game to which I understand polyphony can't pay extensive licensing fees or run into licensing conflicts. This feature would have been awesome for all of us as fans to experience in the game, wouldn't be cool to drive the old #91 dodge viper Team Oreca race car! I most certainly would!

Oh man, how many times has it been now about wishlists/suggestions for future updates? Use the search feature next time.

1: Gran Valley, Deep Forest, and Trial Mountain are already confirmed to be making a return. It's a question of when

2: Have you seen the previous updates and the cars they brought?

I feel like PD are already doing this to a degree, not quite at the speed we'd like but bringing back old fan favourite cars and tracks is happening.

Kaz never said that, just confirm Deep Forest

I wasn't aware, I just thought about it. I apologize for not looking in depth.

I could understand that since they had cars that balanced fans taste into their favorites.

There's a fairly cynical proportion who think that they fix 5 bugs and 2 more pop up.

I feel for the people with full wheel setups whose rigs still dont work properly... I mean how's that on/off clutch going?

We need more European sports cars that were in GT6 like Cizeta V16t, Audi RS6 Avant, Mercedes C63 AMG, Alfa Romeo 8C Competizione, Maserati GranTurismo S etc. Let's start praying

A return to GT7 IMO.
GTsport is a good game but will never be the GT expected by many (me included). I think they know we all want a huge GT with this classic feeling. And given the latest news (hiring more and more, outsourcing, new studio, new tech in development...) I'm optimist.

I felt they should kept it classic to the point where it's not repetitive and gets old quick. Just keep it at an interesting game that has a great satisfying feeling when your grinding excessively for a car you want or different challenges that involves new GT tracks like the real world tracks like laguna seca and road Atlanta. I'm disappointed there is hardly any American tracks that are real non fictional. That's something fans might disparately want.

Interesting. Do you have any information or sources on this?

In "Gran Turismo 6", i became responsible for the recording course of the iPad application "GT 6 track pass editor". It is a course generated by the track pass editor which allows users to freely draw linearity, and there is a memory that has been struggling to reproduce the natural landscape while maintaining the versatility of real-time generation.
The mechanism of course creation that I made at this time is called "course maker" inside the company, and it is being utilized also in the course creation of "Gran Turismo SPORT" in a more brushed up form.

Man... I feel for these people. They are so talented and yet their work isnt accessible any more and it doesnt look like its coming to GT Sport any time soon.

I feel like the track editor was so underutilised and had so much potential. I rememeber the seasonals and multiplayer use of these tracks and they added so much variety.

And its all gone only living on in replays and youtube vids.

Standing starts are a nightmare otherwise its been manageable for myself. Worse than that is you have no clutch at all if you use any car with a modified gearbox, unless I missed a setting somewhere ? How something like that even exists in a "Sim" racing game is beyond me.

I know. I reckon they should bring back the 2 homligation heroes which are the BMW Mclaren F1 GTR and the Nissan R390 GT1 and then bring in the Mercedes-AMG CLK GTR LM in a future update
