Maybe that just wasn't possible this time around. What they should have done is learn from previous mistakes and ship the best racer on the market in the timescale they advertised. They have made this rod for their own back and are only reaping what they sowed.
No, I didn't cancel my pre-order. I got this notification from them on their own.Nico, did you cancel your pre-order, or did they send this to you on their own?
Maybe that just wasn't possible this time around.
Whatever the issue, I'll just wait on more news and continue playing FM6 and GT6, and possibly a few other games.
Aside from GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4, GT5P, GTPSP, and GT6, no.This time around? Have you been around for any other GT release?
Those delays didn't. However, that doesn't mean that this delay won't.You do understand that GT6 is a PS3 title right? The PS3, launched in 2006, GT6 launched in 2013... if you can't see or understand that these delays that do NOT produce superior or polished products are a problem then you are just not being honest.
You have a clear history of behavior to call on - as in the delays result in LESS features and dropped functionality, yet you still refuse to admit this is the likely outcome.Aside from GT1, GT2, GT3, GT4, GT5P, GTPSP, and GT6, no.

“Finally, when asked about the alleged arrival of Gran Turismo 7 in 2017, as initially feared by some sources, it came a blunt denial: “People will never wait so much.”
On top of that..@RC45 - Either find a way to respond to people without resorting to name-calling, or find yourself banned again.

Looking through the archives, I stumbled upon this old article of ours:

It also confirms a greater number of premium cars in Gran Turismo 7
Are you kidding me? I was not name calling. I was offering the gentleman a chance to defend his position as he was clearly defending a company that has a track record of lying to consumers and he is ignoring this fact.@RC45 - Either find a way to respond to people without resorting to name-calling, or find yourself banned again.

This is it. I'm done. My GT career is over. They are killing this series.
This time around? Have you been around for any other GT release? Each time the delays have got longer and longer, but back in the day they at least released somewhat limited interim titles.

Let's say that the NEXT GEN Gran Turismo title was delayed. The biggest disappointment was when PD announced GT6 for PS3 and not for PS4.GT6 wasn't delayed though

Kazunori laughed at the notion of a 2010 release date for Gran Turismo 5, and said it will be released sooner than expected.
I get the disappointment. Really I do. But a video game being delayed is hardly worth throwing in the towel on a franchise when it is obvious the game (operative word here) wasn't ready. Plenty of other great titles out there to experience in the mean time.
Your right it wasn't delayed.GT6 wasn't delayed though
Delayed or not, it had a day one patch though :/GT6 wasn't delayed though
The game was announced in 2011 and finally arrived in December of 2013 without many of the promised and expected features that GT5 had.GT6 wasn't delayed though

The response he provided was a text book definition of some one that defends a company without any merit to the defense.
Since you think that the term "fanboy" is name calling, please provide me with an acceptable and politically correct adjective to describe the responder above that is clearly willing to ignore the atrocious track record that PD and KY have at being honest about features and release dates.

GT6 wasn't officially announced until 2013. It launched, without a delay, in 2013.
Did it not have a big day one patch?
I honestly feel that a day one patch is no better than a delay
I'm not even sure how day one patch's can be considered bad, in my opinion. In this day and age, in the time between going gold and reaching your console, this allows them work on the game longer. In most cases, thats a good thing.Did it not have a big day one patch?
