Splitscreen still has no AI opponents :(
Such a let down

Yeah, that is unfortunate, but it seems impossible that GTS would be able to render everything twice (once per screen space) and still hold 60 FPS. I wouldn’t be alarmed if split-screen runs in 30 FPS. Think of split screen Call of Duty with maximum bots. It nearly freezes when everything is close together. Ughh.

Went immediately to the 'Custom Race' menu and was extremely happy to find the endurance options there.
So up for a Bathurst 12-Hour recreation in the full version down the track.

Also, am I the only one here whose manual transmission shift seems to be sluggish with traction control turned all the way down. I use a DualShock 4 controller BTW.

I have finished all the events with gold score, my driver level is 10. I will going to share all the replays of the events if i can find a time. I like the gt sport

Hello, new here, but i have a question anyone else notice a throttle issue with the DS4 controller, i have a wheel but with my left shoulder injury i can't handle the FFB coming from the game, it just flares it up.

But back to the controller i am noticing that the right trigger when pulled all the way down doesn't seem to give it the full throttle feeling almost like it is giving maybe half the throttle if not, it was especially noticeable doing the school tests to learn this and that was hard to get the full throttle feeling like i was able to get on my wheel when i plugged it in the see if i was right

Faulty DS4 trigger. I had that problem with my first DS4. It's the trigger in Destiny. I've shot a LOT of enemies. The solution is a new DS4.

well if that is true, then this controller held on pretty well being a launch controller with this system, guess i need to find the money to replace it with a new one

I'm having the same issue I think, unless PD's gone a bit excessive with stock transmission lag. I'd've thought the GT 86 and Maxda MX-5 would be shifting pretty fast though...

close up of damage, pretty detailed, I wonder if it goes any further...

Has anyone been able to get the cs v3 pedals to work. Mine are connected to the ps4 directly and i cant seem to find any settings to verify there on.

Anyone else get caught out on their first race in the Gr4 cars at Maggiore? Didn't realise we needed to fuel save until I ran out...

My game keeps crashing every time i try to access the options menu. Does this happen for anyone else?

Yep. Eventually it will stop doing that by the 4th try or so.

The cone marker assist is brilliant. Can't comment on wheel physics since mine seems to be dying 🤬 Thrustmaster. I drove both the RCF GR.4 and M3 with the DS4 and both exhibited heavy snap oversteer.

OK, the Lake Maggiore 30 lap endurance.

What a race.

The first two things I noticed were the car count (30 cars!) and the aggression of the AI. They aren’t pushovers like the GT AI from before - they will make an effort to overtake you and hold their positions.

The race is around an hour long, and you drive the 911 RSR, which sounds pretty good, and is a great car to drive.

The only problem is that I lost. As it’s an endurance race, you have to keep track of your tires and fuel throughout it. I was on my way to a Top 5 finish, but one of the AI cars hit my back end while accelerating out of a corner, resulting in me spinning now out and dropping from 5th to 17th place in moments...on lap 27.

What’s more, as I decided to switch to Medium tires around 7 laps before, their effective life was essentially over, so I had no rear tires for the last 2 laps of the race. In the end, I came 20th. Behind most, if not all of the Gr.3 cars in the race, but in front of all of the Gr.4 cars.

Even if I ended up losing an hour long race, I was too happy with everything else. The atmosphere, the track, the helicopters flying over. Truly astounding.

I had high hopes for this game already, but now? I literally can’t wait for October 18th.

Kaz, you have a winner here.
