Can't believe I'm digging the Driving School(DS) . I seriously avoided it thinking it would be boring. DS is like a quick mini game within the game. Sampling different cars and tracks and pieces of tracks.

Since I live the Gr. 4 cars, we get to use just about all of them for a majority of the Tests. I also have to point out rally. I just didn't like it at first. Now, I'm a bit more welcoming of it. I guess it's the car lover in me that just likes to nail the throttle in them, hear the engine, listen to the gravel/dirt as the car is trying to grip. Plus, gifted prize cars don't hurt after completion.

Bought the game two nights ago. I'm in love with the new physics.

Old habits die hard so the first thing I did was blast through the license tests, watched the racing etiquette workshop (which could've been worded better or phrased in a more mature way; it sounded too childish) and hopped in an online lobby.

First thing I did was select Suzuka East Course, and hopped into a drift lobby. Players were understanding and helpful in regards to tuning and to controller setups, etc. Had a lot of fun!

I love the new indicator system. I can finally enjoy track days without the constant blaring of the horn or misunderstanding where to pass a slower car.

My biggest gripe currently is the lack of an FOV adjustment or interior camera adjustment for specific vehicles. The Mustang interior is way too close to the point where I can't even see my mirrors.

I have yet to experience the headache of ranked gameplay, I might never even try. It's hard to be competitive with a controller but I'm getting used to controlling the car with the new physics. Not saying I'm the fastest and most experienced driver but for having only played two nights, I could hang with most drivers on the Nürburgring (that's my personal evaluation of my skill-level).

For once the physics feel... intuitive. I don't feel that there is a huge learning curve. The throttle can be finicky with a controller. I have to use my analog sticks for the throttle because my R2 button currently emits only 50% throttle, so I'm fine with binding the L2/R2 buttons for shifting. Drifting was intuitive, I could actually tell when the car was on the verge of spinning out and I could feel the right moment to engage the throttle in a transition curve. It feels amazing, to just have the ability to get in and feel one with the vehicle.

I'm sure on a wheel and pedal setup with the right FFB settings it would greatly enhance the experience but they have nailed the visual, physical, and audio cues overall.

Feels good to be back in the proverbial seat. :D

I wonder how this new tyre model change the physics i read that the cars back will slide more easily i'm woried because i want more grip especially during full throttle from stop. Now if i change the tyres to medium sport and set brake balance to -5 the cars back slide very easily even in heavy cars.

I would really love some old cars like Bugatti Type 35 to be added in the future

Does anyone tried Aston Martin DP-100 VGT Concept ? opinions about him?

Forgettable, in the class it's currently classified you won't be able to use it in many races, overall it doesnt drive good for me and it doesn't even have a interior.

Is there a money glitch in this game yet?? I havent played in a few months.. but I hated how long it took to make a few bucks in this game before.. :/

Unless any new one comes out with tomorrow's DLC I suspect there are none, the fuel and pit lane glitch was the only one I am
aware of unless leaving the controller rubber banded on an endurance custom race still works...

Not played this game for months since going back to Driveclub, so I’m just wondering are the time trials still against your own best times or have they incorporated friends times and world leaderboards yet ?
