While browsing through Twitter I discovered something. There is company called "Cafe" and turns out they are responsible for modelling the new Honda S660. Here is the tweet :



Then I checked their Facebook page :

As far as I knew PD always did the modelling in house. Could be PD finally decided it is better to do outsourcing in car modelling? Or perhaps this company is still affiliated with PD as business partner or company group? :confused:What do you guys think? 💡

Good to see them outsourcing, we hope they can deliver more cars faster. No need to care if they are outsourced/affiliated/whatever lol.

Surely they did not do that car entirely but they helped to create some elements together with the PD.
The PD will have very strict standards on the creation of the cars so, even if they helped, they were closely supervised by the PD.
 
I don't know about you lot, but there are certainly no cars
in the Brand Central section of my copy of GT Sport even
close to 200 million credits.

I noticed this PD error while installing 1.23 a couple of days ago. :lol:

That's from the Japanese version. Their credits are in line with Yen which is about 100 times less valuable than the dollar.

Mine isn't the Japanese version, hence my bemusement at PD's error
of not converting the values properly.

If they want to offer a solid GT7, they have to outsource modelling. We will all judge them on the car list of the next GT and I have big expectations after the car list of Forza 7.

There won't be a GT7 until PS5 at the earliest. Mark my words. PD are much more interested in growing the Sport of online racing. I wouldn't be surprised to see a port of Sport launch along side the PS5 actually with cross play to the PS4 version and native 4k.

Yeah, I'm just saying that's the origin of the error. I saw it too when I did the update.

It's a localisation issue not a game version language issue. The value is correct, for the Japanese version, it just hasn't gone through the localisation process to convert to the value in other regions' games. All values are 100 times higher in the Japanese version, and have been throughout Gran Turismo's history.

We saw the same thing when GT League first arrived. The Premium Sports Lounge was for "Cars that cost more than 10,000,000 credits" and, at that point, there weren't any. It's for cars over 100,000 credits and just hadn't been localised from the original Japanese version.

Nope. Biggest prize is 440,000cr for two of the three the Gr.3 Endurance races. Beginner and Amateur level races are far less valuable, and most Professional level races are nowhere near either.

As long as GTA VI isn't out, the Ps4 is relevant. Tbh, I hope the next Gt is on ps5 with dynamic tod/weather and more life along the track (some tracks in Gtsport look empty and dead).

If you do an online lobby and set up an endurance race with two or three other opponents by the end of a 6 hour race you make 1.5mil credits.

But as @Famine said, the highest prize in campaign/offline mode is 440k credits.
 
Want to race fast ai? Choose one make race in Custom Race and choose the new F1 Merc. AMG. Even on intermediate level the ai is very competitive! I tested the ai performance levels after the quite easy GT League F1 event. I used the same tyre compound as the ai, racing mediums. Surprising to see the ai perform so well.
(I streamed the comparison.)

This month is where F1 race going to held in Spa (August 26th) and if we match it with track update cycle means we get real life track this month (hence we already got Sainte Croix which is fantasy track).
So... could it be... 💡 :bowdown:

(That if the update didn't skipped a month as in June though... :rolleyes:)
