Thank you, PD.

Say it's because of my age, but don't get the look of the Supra. Attractive, but still kinda meh.

Quick question, I spun in a Daily race today. I've seen others spin and immediately respawn and get going. I found myself stuck in the gravel having to drive myself out. Do I have a setting I need to change to correct such? Lost a good 20 seconds recovering from said spin.

Beautiful shot, full of meaning... Worth a thousand words.
 :gtpflag:

The respawn/reset process is very random, or the least I can say is that I haven't figured it out...

When I don't want it to respawn me, and I want it just let me get back on the track by myself, it does. :odd:

And when I want it to reset me, it just doesn't and I am here sitting pretty like a duck waiting to be shot... :irked:

It's all haphazard...

:dunce:

What car(s) gave you the biggest happiness when it was (they were) added in GT SPORT?
Those three?
Out of these three, the M3(why the heck it took 21 years to finally be in the game?). Brought back memories from when my brother had his E30 M3. It's racing pedigree, is enough to tell the story of this icon.

These cars, mainly by discussion, are probably the most significant in this website.

Yes, the M3 and Supra are at the top of the Suggestions. I guess nearly 2000 votes between the two, are minor compared to the actual members on this site. It's that the 996 was, of course, not usable to majority GT players. Also that Kaz has/had one and this one in game, uses(I believe) his car's default color. That's a big treat to finally have it in a GT.

The Supra is that legend. Not even about FF movies. It's been in every GT from GT1. Over 1000hp tuning, the JGTC and Super GT500 models, the racing modifications. Why it took so long to become Super Premium? Doesn't matter. It's been done and we can enjoy the details.

I have a few others that made me happy(300SEL, GR.4 Supra, GR.4 Mustang, believe it or not- GR.4 Atenza). But. I believe these three sum up this era of GT(though Kaz says GTSport begins the next era) before we move to PS5.

For me I didn't care much for the M3, never saw the appeal of it. But I was happy when the Supra MkIV and 996 were added. But the car that gave me the most happiness was the 356A. I've always loved that model ever since I was a kid and played NFS Porsche. It's my second favourite Porsche right after the 959. I missed the 356 so much since the exclusivity deal meant only EA would have Porsche and they essentially ignored Porsche history after aforementioned NFS game.

Thank you Polyphony Digital for adding classic Porsches! I hope to see the 917K, 914, and 550A someday.

A fun fact, maybe lots of people misunderstand. (Super late topic though)

I saw lots of people (especially Japanese) moaning that AE86 Levin and Trueno in GTS have a digital instrument panel.
Yeah, the AE86 in Initial D had analog gauges, so I guess some of them wanted the in-game one to be the same as in that comic.

...But it would be wrong for a stock 1983 3door GT APEX.
1983 2door GT APEX and 1985 GT APEX (both 2door and 3door) had analog gauges as its standard equipment, and a digital one (called 'Electronic Display Meter') as its optional one.
But 1983 3door GT APEX, featured in Gran Turismo games, had a digital panel as its standard equipment, that's all. Analog one wasn't even optional for that model.

Here're the translated version of lists I made a year ago.

I just found out that the KMC XD Series XD125 wheel is designed for pickup trucks, the only type of it's kind in the game. It will fit the F-150 Raptor or the Tundra TRD Pro, but not other cars.

Quick random general question but since which update did the game save and record your clean race streak progression?

I've been away from online racing for the past month and had a clean race to finish last time out so today came back on to do some race B and now I'm on a 3 race clean streak?

If someone knows the answer please let me know!

I hope this means I can get the 15 race clean streak achievement finally before this race finishes tomorrow early am!

I think I saw, in GT Sports Photos pic, someone have put those wheels on the 250 Berlinetta.

What am I missing here?

The 8 lug bolt pattern is a dead giveaway to them being truck wheels, but they can be used on a lot of different vehicles.

Of course, there are some ridiculous applications for these wheels too...

There's another truck wheel in game, but don't remember the name. It looks like a 6 spoke Cragar SS. I don't use them, because even in real life, they're ugly.

As far as I remember, it saving clean race progress has always been present. Last time I tried to complete (and ended up bottling ) the 15 race challenge I grinded out 10, then ended up failing in race 13 the next day. That was maybe a year or more ago as well

I havent driven the mileage exchange GT3 road cars for a while and I tried them out with tunes.

They are still 90% as good as they should be but it seems that they've been nerfed by giving them very poor top end speeds.

My favourite used to be the Mazda 6 GT3 road car but its changed. At N500 you used to be able to just touch 300km/h but now it barely hits 250.

Its still ridiculously quick... I did a 7'20" on the Ring even with the poor top end.

When I first got gts I used to race those at n4 or 500 against gr.3 in custom races. Fun races with a few credits.

I’m wondering if the new cars shown in the GT7 trailer would come to GT Sport. Technically we have 3 (maybe 1 or 2) updates left with the Porsche VGT, 917 LL and Lambo VGT. All 3 could come together or it could be like Porsche VGT, 911 GT1 and Carrera GT (update 1) then 917 LL and 917K (update 2) then finally the Lambo VGT, Murciélago and BAC Mono (update 3). Or maybe they’ll al be reserved for GT7...

Soooo, after watching the trailer, who's still playing Gran Turismo Sport?

Well I think its clear GT SPort is about to die.

Once GT7 and PS5 come on and we now know GT7 is PS5 only then the PS4 is dead and so is GT Sport.

GT7 will be a superset of GT Sport, so why play a subset?

I do see a whole heap of coming titles that are PS4/PS5/PC and this is coming from Sony so they want to keep their 100 mil. strong PS4 user base alive however it looks like PD arent in this category... maybe they were forced to focus GT7 to PS5 only.

Once GT7 comes out I dont see more than 6 months left of Sport but I cant imagine how they will keep Sport viable once it goes offline.

I would love for GT Sport to be kept alive with some of the content from GT7 but why would they do that? I would love to be optimistic but look at how t hey treated GT5/6 and the ps3 once they realised that that whole gen wasnt worth much once the ps4 built up steam.
