You guys are so damn disredpectfull :banghead:

PD's non-communication, ignoring, broken promises and bait'n'switching is far more disrespectful. Collectively everyone here is a customer of theirs that funds their projects and wages, to the tune of tens of millions of dollars. Most of the time they pretend we don't even exist when it suits them or put their fingers in their ears.

What the hell are you guys talking about "PDI not deserving GTPlanet"??

PD gave GTPlanet the exclusive announcement for the coursemaker and just invited The GTPlanet guys to the london event. Securing 50 ticket exclusively for GTPlanet members and giving Jordan the possibilty to host the Live championsships!

Respect works both ways Ron ;)

Never forget.

Oh yes, the course maker that arrived 2 years late and no other outlet would even bother to cover it, the tickets are worthless, they need to fill in the seats one way or another and make the money back, and without Jordan the whole event would be even worse, the other guy was terrible and Jordan tried to save the situation the best he could, the other hosts seemed entirely disinterested in gran turismo and were there for the paycheck, especially that famous commentator that by the end looked eager to clock off and go home.

Some people just don't know how to appreciate things I guess? I applaud PD for doing this event, they did a wonderful job imo. Yeah the livestream and trailer was a mess but I'm satisfied

Honestly though PD doesn't deserve a community like GTP and as nice a guy like Jordan running it, the attitude towards your single biggest community that does what, like 80% of the actual marketing and PR for free is absolutely bonkers, the Q&A fiasco was a major sign that nothing has really changed at PD and you'll have just as much luck talking to a wall about the game as you will to PD. I'm astounded at the whole situation really, mind boggling mishandling of the franchise.
Whining and crying thread, please.

Lets hope it doesn't affect tonight's report (surely it will, right? Would be an odd GTS report with no GTS footage)

I'm wondering what this means for tonight's report.

Is the special GTP report still going live as planned ?

In other news, less than an hour before the stream.

Need to be at work in 7h - if you need to postpone the video please say it now guys...

Just to reassure everyone, the broadcast will still be going ahead this evening, and is still due to last around 40 minutes, however there have been some changes to the final edit.

Maybe or maybe not, but probably this final edit took out any new information about the game that would be first presented by GTP. That was the point of my question.

1. Beta announced for early 2016 (silently cancelled)

True, and poor form for them to cancel quietly.

2. This reveal event was planned for April originally, but was delayed by a month

Source?

3. Horrible reveal trailer with an old build, horrible editing, music choice, etc.

Not everyone thought it was a 'horrible' trailer, or anywhere near horrible even.

4. Old build brought to the show with crap graphics, old sounds, etc.

Yeah, old builds are bad!

5. Better builds brought in just 1-2 days (what have you been doing beforehand?!)

Yeah, new builds are bad!

6. All footage scrubbed off the face of the earth after the backlash

What's your evidence that the takedown request was issued because of a 'backlash'?

@Saidur_Ali was there no blind spot indicator?
Not sure if there is as didn't really have anyone really close behind me apart from the first couple of corners. If Relph started a few more places ahead, then think better chance of noticing if it is there. Was concentrating more on Tom's commentary in the race so didn't notice car sounds or HUD stuff on-screen too much.
