Enough of this BS.

Delete the poll, make a new one but with same content. Dont forget to make people that has picked choices public.

The current poll result in this thread is definitely not representing todays condition.

Just a quick glance through today's news. People can hate on PD all they want, but in the end I have to say that PD are by far the best when it comes to car model accuracy and detail. And they just keep getting better and better.
That's way i'm so excited for this, Which will also force me to get a pro down the line, Wanna have the best version of the Mclaren P1 60$ Bucks can buy :D

I'm going to get a PS4 later on down the road as the new Crash Bandicoot remake along with Driveclub are already enough for me to want a PS4. GT Sport however, I'm still not sure it'll be a launch buy for me; I really think I should wait for reviews to see if I'll want it or not.

Not even the biggest , saltiest hater can deny that. GT always has the best car models and and the graphics are amazing on GT Sport. I'm more than sold.

@RandomCarGuy17 We can make our own designs atleast , so the "blank" 458 isn't a problem to me...
Also is the arrival of the A45 AMG a sign that the E63 AMG might come aswell as it was talked to be on GT6?
The GT6 SLS was a blank model until the "livery editor". Might just be able to put number plate on it and change colors.

The E63, I'm hoping makes the cut. That Charger will be quite lonely. Gr.3 upgrade for those two could compensate for lack of (V8)Supercars. ;)

Is anyone denying it? Gran Turismo has always had magnificent graphics. It's not an area that they really needed much improvement in.

...and I swear, I'd love to play this game over and over... I may have to sacrifice offline to get enjoyment if that AI is still weak.

From the first GT, I've played the game to watch the replays. I cant stand the online replays. The cars sliding around like there's a magnet under the table.

I never thought I'd have to wonder if I would get my money's worth with a GT title. This one has kept one eyebrow raised.

Meh, the accuracy is no better than what numerous other games are pushing out (and have been doing for years on the current generation). Detail, maybe slightly ahead, in Polyphony's typical obsessive way. As an avid Photomoder, it is noticeable, but not "by far".

Polyphony's biggest advantage? Shaders and lighting. Their interiors in particular tend to look more realistic than other titles, and the lighting is stunning. Though, in a lot of the GT Sport images, it hasn't been particularly realistic, instead seemingly taking inspiration from Abram's Star Trek reboot (bloom standing in for lens flare).

That said, they do have uncanny moments that force a double-take:

That looks like a live feed from an on-track camera, or a Google Streetview shot. If that isn't a Scape, that's really quite fascinating IMO, more so than just about every other shot shown so far today.

No denying that, however they can't seem to make a racing game to go with their superior modeling.

In the meantime, I can fire up my Xbone and choose 2 games from the same devs in which I can drive an A45 AMG... PD is so slow with development that their newest additions/reveals are not even what we'd consider new.

The market moves way too fast these days to be stuck with a 1998 state of mind...

Despite that, I cant believe they're reeling me in. I'm not supposed to be "falling for the banana in the tailpipe" with this game.

The game does look monumentally good but I refused to be seduced by looks again. GT has always looked good, lighting, for me, is head and shoulders above anything else out there. However, it's other areas where GT has been lacking recently so I need to know more about other areas before fully getting back on board the hype train. Pretty disappointed by the 'select cars & tracks' for VR as well. GTS was the game that would make me buy PSVR but if it's very limited I'll just stick with my Vive for my VR kicks. Still so many questions to be answered.

Just give PD some room to develop a great foundation for the VR contend mate. In fact that they will include some tracks and cars to be VR ready for me show their work ability, because when PD started developing GT Sport, VR was not in store, it was revealed latter in the process.
P.S. are you expecting at Christmas evening, that all the Christmas gifts that is laying under the Christmas tree is all yours?. GT Sport is looking absolutely amazing. That new 2 minutes trailer blow me away, and I know what GT Sport is about, it's all been showed and explained to us, there is nothing to complain about, that's my opinion.

Edit: Although the only thing I'm still disappointed on, is the fact that we were promised a downloadable Demo on PSN. I still have a opinion that the playable demo on these game events should be launched.
I look forward to hear the boys "Kinda Funny", latter today. Well done Polyphony Digital, Kaz on the new trailer, thank you:)

It does indeed show their work ability. The fact that games like PCars, Assetto Corsa, Dirt Rally, RFactor 2 worked fully on my Vive soon after it's launch shows what devs are capable of when it comes to VR. So I wont give PD room, I'll compare them to their peers and hence express my disappointment. Keep giving them a free pass if you want, that's your choice, but don't expect others to do the same ;)

That's just making excuses. It makes no sense giving you just part of the tracks and cars to be played with VR. There is absolutely no reason why they all wouldn't be available.

Ah good, perhaps you can explain the following then:

How does the FIA championship work? Some manufacturers have two cars, some don't have cars in certain groups (Ferrari Gr1 example). How will the manufacturer cup work with that?
How much of the Campaign Mode do you need to complete to start on Sport Mode?
How does currency work? Will we be buying cars, or just parts?
Will we be able to earn that currency in arcade mode?
How do the car groups work? Will they all race together in multi-group racing? Will the Group 4 cars be balanced so a Focus can race a Merc SLS, or will they go into separate groups?
Will there be a damage model? How detailed is it? Just physical, visual or both?
How does the rally fit into Sport Mode? Will it be part of the FIA Championship?
How does the livery editor work? Do we unlock shapes, is it all available from the start? Can we only use pre-determined decals on certain cars?

I'm sure you can answer all of that since everything has been shown and explained to us.

About the release date, from a November 2016, we went to a "2017". I'm sure they have changed the scale of GTsport. They won't change the name but I don't think it will be the GTsport "November release version". (And they better release it before Forza 7 to avoid any comparison car and track roaster)

I'm not sure about that. It's almost exactly three years since GT6 released. I'm not sure the scope or scale of the game can change that much and hit a 2017 release date. More than likely it's just PD being PD and overestimating their ability.

It could be a bit of both. It's definitely partly PD being slow, that is evident by the fact every track they've shown in the past year has been initially unfinished and they've still got nothing else to show but those 6. Cars are being added to the builds as they are being finished but I'd guess they're far from done either, despite the release date being last month originally.

On top of that they may be working on the scale/scope but it's impossible to know unless they say so.
