Gran Turismo Sport Livery Thread and Discussion! (Read Original Post!)

My atempt on replicating the Team Lazarus Huracan. Some decals missing but I'll try to make them later. Meanwhile ....

It is that day again : latest additions to my gallery

Tanner Foust's Mountune Golf GTi

The Golf is one of the car I've "used" the most, as my night rubber-banding machine, but I've never done a livery for it. For the past few weeks I've used Raph Crash test livery, when I came across this car on social media. The design was great, the colours fun, so I've decided that this will be my first Golf livery. The real car got rubber wide wheel arches, and I wanted to keep that feature, so the car uses in fact a K2 semi-matte base paint, with decals on it. Colours changes around the arches were a bit tricky using only in-game shapes, but I'm fine with the result.

J2Racing 911 GT3 Cup (Gen1)

The Gen2 car of the J2Racing that I've made on the 911 RSR became one of my most popular designs, and the team owner was very kind with me when I send it the renders. Unfortunately, he was involved in a big crash during the VLN 6 race. He is fine, but I've made this car as a support/tribute when he was at the hospital for recovery. This is also my first road-going 911 so it will be useful for GT League events, as I've made it Sport Mode friendly.

Olimp Racing R8 LMS

Once again, this is a new car in my inventory. I've came across this brilliant design when browsing GT Open galleries. I think it is one of the best for the R8 in this season, especially the front fascia. Despite looking very similar, both cars are made differently. The yellow uses a bright yellow base, with semi-matte decals on it, whereas the red uses a silver metallic base with glossy decals.

I think that tonight I’ll try some NSX liveries !

Edit : weird, sometimes the pics show correctly, sometimes not...

Don't know where else I could ask this but can someone tell me what are the HSV values for Porsches Oak Green (Metallic)?

Or rgb values and a formula to turn them into hsv values?

I downloaded a decal for Oak Green but can't the paint to match the decal.

Well, according to R-M OAKGRUEN MET is associated to #1A201B.

The problem with the metallized colors is that you can't represent them with only one color but with the Metallized option of GT Sport it works quite well. You can find all the conversions you need on this website.

Have fun ;-)

By the way, you need to divide the first value by 3.6 to match GT Sport's palette :-)
