After choosing Ferrari for the upcoming FIA manufacturers series I didn't feel like I had any liveries that felt right/ I liked as a manufacturer team so I came up with these. Started with the GT3 and then copied the overall design for the Gr.4 car.

Now i'm not a good painter. But i respect all of you guys that have constantly uploaded amazing liveries.
Whether there replicas or custom. It requires some skill to create some of these great liveries on this forum.
It is inspiring to see all of these liveries.
Keep up the great work. 👍

Based on my all time favourite F1 car and season the Brawn GP based NSX GT500. The NSX seemed like the perfect fit as Brawn came out from the ashes of the Honda F1 team and driver Jenson button went on to drive a GT500 NSX.

(Would have been perfect for the LEC 42 but did this after submitting my entry)

A pair not BWT GT3 cars. the Audi is effectively a replica of the Mucke Motorsport car and the Huracan is an original design as the same livery didn't work well on the cars shape. Both were harder than they look to complete.

How did you get those? When I did a similar livery for the Gr.3 Nissan I went with 62/89/41 for blue and 0/80/59 for red and it took ages for the blue one, trying loads of variations and taking pictures of the R92CP from every possible angle to try and get a colour I thought matched it. Your blue is a bit paler than mine. There seems to be a difference between the blue in-game and old photos of the cars that ran that paint scheme.

I'm pretty sure I went with that because I thought it was a close enough match. I'm not bothered if it's a perfect match most of the time as long as it looks right without having to compare the two being really anal about the perfect shade of blue. If you wanted to get a livery 100% accurate with decal placement it'd take weeks and most of the time 98% right is close enough that no one will notice unless side by side.

I think my problem was trying to match it to the image I had in my head of the R92CP from GT4 rather than something really realistic. I'm still happy with what I ended up with but it's interesting to me that there's such a drastically different shade of blue which still looks right.

Anyway, I made a new Gr.4 GT-R livery for the coming FIA season. I had to add some sponsor decals to it because it looked too plain, and it was missing one for engine oil, so here we go. I'm sure you'll recognise the inspiration:

Hi, I wanted to do a retro livery, and I have fallen in love with this:

So I have done this to a GT3 Mustang:

Livery is sport mode compatible.

To be honest, I am not too happy with it. I wanted to do these pinstripes across the a-pillar, roof and so on, but I was only able to produce one stripe... which does not really follow the blue paint below.

How do you handle things like this? How can I produce nicely drawn small stripes?

That seems to be a good entry for the current LEC ;)
