I want to pre-order the collectors edition copy in the EU but can't find a preorder listing anywhere yet. :(

This is NOT the Collectors Edition, but the Limited Edition!!!
I guess there is a difference between those 2!?

Same here (Austria).
But don't worry up there in Scotland, you might not even be part of the EU when the game comes out (except if you try hard and get independant from England/GB before). :D

Let's say, what if i'm happy with the game so far and want to pre order the special editions of this game?

Different regions = different collections?

But i don't live in north america nether europe so which should i get (if i'm happy with the game)? And where?

It's been a wild day. The big GT Sport Event in London just concluded its live stream, and we've been hit by a tsunami of new details. We've heard about the 19 tracks, we've heard the game will feature over 130 cars, and we've even got a date to mark on the calendar: November 15, 2016 (or up to a few days later if you're in the Europe or the UK).

In the US, much like other recent Gran Turismo titles, GT Sport is launching with both a Standard version, and a Limited Edition. The collector's choice, the LE comes with over $130 of bonus content according to Sony. Inside the stylish gold steelbook case, players will find codes for the following perks:

  • GT Sport Starter Pack (8x Cars) – Gain immediate access to cars within various race class, including GT4, Rally, and more
  • $1MM In-Game Credit – Build and customize your personalized garage
  • Livery Sticker Pack – Bonus livery of numerous brands and logos
  • 30x PS4 GT Sport Themed Avatars – Based on selected GT Sport featured vehicles
  • Racing Helmet – For your customized driver profile

I don't know about you, but the idea of a Group B modern Mustang sounds... AWESOME.
The Limited Edition will retail for $69.99 USD, or $89.99 CDN.

European GT fans get another, altogether more substantial pack: the Collector's Edition comes with an exclusive model of the Mercedes-AMG GT-S, as well as a special automobile enthusiast book written by the folks at Polyphony themselves. European pricing is yet to be announced for this or the other two editions of the game.

As is increasingly the norm, select retailers will also gift you with unique pre-order bonuses. In North America, all pre-orders will get early access to three cars: the Ford Mustang Group B Rally Car; Toyota FT-1 Vision GT Group 3; and Peugeot 908 HDi FAP LMP1. The retailer-specific perks are listed below:

Just for clarity, If I preordered from Gamestop, would I get the Corvette Group 3 and associated cars as well as the Mustang Group B? Which edition would guarantee both and the benefits like livery editor perks?

From my understanding, yes, you'd get early access to both the Vette and Mustang. Every pre-order will net the early access for the 3 cars, while the retailer-specific POB's stack on top.

I'd check their website to clarify, though.

So.....that Mustang.....is it possible to get it via the usual avenues of game-play or is it only something you can have if you pre-order special editions etc...? I can't afford all these super editions and stuff, but would really love to be able to get it by unlocking/buying it in-game.

From my understanding, no car is locked behind a POB, only early access to them.

• Pre-order Gran Turismo Sport Deluxe Edition for the Pace Car Theme Pack and a dynamic PS4™ theme.

DELUXE EDITION INCLUDES: Livery Sticker Pack, Japan Theme Pack, America Theme Pack, Europe Theme Pack, Chrome Racing Helmet and 1,000,000 credits.

With so few cars in this Racing Simulator I will have to go with the LE for the distinguishing livery pack. 16 people racing only a few different cars in each class. Each class will be darn near A cup race:lol: Plus I love to paint too. Platinum painter in FM6:D

I did from Gamestop for the cars. If BestBuy comes into the fray, then most likely I might go with them. They have 20% off via Gamer Club Unlocked, which I have. Amazon also has this via Prime, but their bonus is paltry.

Yeah I see it now on their store. It's hilarious how GS has it already and not the PS store.

What about the one with the black box, is that the collectors edition?
 
Will the collector's edition be available after release is what I want to know, not as just a pre-order thing. I'd really like that model Mercedes :3

And Gamestop is stupid in the way that you can't access the website if you live in Croatia... 🤬 great.
 
Thanks a lot, but this is for Australia only, while I am from Austria! 2 letters can make a big difference, no cangoroos here (except in the zoo). :D
So I guess I will have to continue waiting or find another shop shipping to Austria and taking my 200,-$!
Any ideas anyone?
 
Maybe we will not get the Collectors Edition in Europe either, which in rreturn would piss ME off too!?
But then again.... who would get the Collectors Edition then (except Australia and, of course, Japan)?
I wonder how PD could miss out on TWO big markets like the U.S. and Europe?
