Very well said. Not too excited as I don't know anything about Formula E. I might change my mind if the car proves to be fun to drive, though.
SAAB > Volvo. Can we have a Volvo please Kaz? Pretty please
The i8 would be an interesting car to have in GT Sport; way more fun than the i3. PD should use the partnership as an excuse to get the car in...Maybe PD add these in the ME
The gloves and camera shacking effect seems a lot GT Sport. Of course there are no proper shadows but it could be a temporary thing.
The visuals look unfinished,it's the camera movement inside the cockpit and the hands placement that are similar to GT.
This doesn't look like GT at all. It looks more like rFactor or iRacing.
But Super Fomula is not the FIA. Today PD has good relationships with the FIA. The FIA also wants help! Help to promote FORMULA E.
The attack mode fan boost Mario Kart Facebook like nonsense is unbelievable.
I cant accept this.
The mosquito sound from a formule E oooo boy, they call it progress they can have it .
The sound of music in your ears Formula 1
I give up... reality has taken a back seat to orthodoxy. Let me reiterate:
When you race on a console, you don't use any gas! No matter what car you drive!
So there is no need to emulate a series that is being run to showcase not using gasoline... You are already running the most green way to race there is.
Formula E cars are slow, nasty whiny abominations. And completely unnecessary in an environment where today's F1 Championship-winning car or Senna's F1 car, or a 60's F1 car all use ZERO gasoline.
They may be a necessary evil in the real world. But utterly superfluous in the gaming world.
GTS... The real dentist drill simulator!
Think we got an F1 Ferrari in GT5P as well. Was it 5 mil or 10mil? All I remember is, crazy grinding for one of each colour and number.Something called licensng, as Codemasters currently hold the rights to have the official F1 grid themselves, hence why no other game has a full grid of modern Formula One cars. As a result, it's the reason GTS has only one F1 car in the shape of the '17 W08 Merc, and in Forza 7 the Renault R.S.17.
Besides, it can't be cheap and easy to attain licensing for Formula One, only have to look at both the F2007 and F10 Ferrari's which never returned, with the F10 only appearing for GT5. Long story short, unless your Codemasters, obtaining the licensing for a modern F1 car isn't easy.
2 million.Think we got an F1 Ferrari in GT5P as well. Was it 5 mil or 10mil? All I remember is, crazy grinding for one of each colour and number.
That isn't correct. You're just making stuff up as hyperbole. Even the Season 1 Formula E cars and their limited rate of energy at the time are quicker. You clearly haven't bothered to watch Formula E properly.
I agree. This would be good to have as well:I certainly hope so
Maybe also the Jaguar I-PACE eTROPHY car....
They’re actually purposely for racing designed Michelin Pilot Sport tires that can be used in both dry and wet conditions. They don’t provide much grip, but that’s by design. If you’d compare it to the tires available in GTsport, it would be more like the sport soft / racing hard (but with the thread pattern on them) tires. So when does Formula E plan to step up to big boy tires? Currently their rules require them to use street tires that would classify in GTS as sport hard, or more likely, comfort soft.
First gen Formula E cars put out about 180-200 hp in race spec, and weigh about 2000 lbs. And run on (not even aggressive) street car tires. But...I didn't realize spec Miatas weighed 2300-2400 lb. Thought they were lighter. And FEs have the benefit of more aero. So I admit I was wrong.
Still sounds boring as hell though
They were used for most Sport Mode N-class races though.Sport tyres are underused in sport mode. There are a lot of lower powered cars that are fun to drive with low grip tyres that are neglected by sport mode. GT5 Shuffle Racing thrived with cars fitting this category.
