Yeah but I don't like that option. That means Microsoft can do such things too, as well as EA and every other big publisher.

I don't wanna be without Porsche for another 10 years.
This, isnt fair for anyone

Those VGT's are crap and hideous, not real world. Forza 7 doesn't bombard their players with crap nor should PD.

You may like it or not, but the essence of Gran Turismo has always had concept cars, besides they are not cars invented by PD, they are cars made by each manufacturer only for and for GT, what is the problem? It only shows the importance of GT in the world of the motor besides being a gift for the fans, it is an extraordinary idea, and they are fantastic cars, if you do not like them do not use them but do not say nonsense

I know the 1967 #21 330 P4 was in GT5 and GT6 but in 2016 at the Pebble Beach Concours d' Elegance a 1966 Ferrari 330 P4 Drogo Spyder #7 won the Gran Turismo award. I wonder if Gt Sport is going to replace the GT5/6 1967 car with the 1966 model 2013 Award winner.View attachment 708184
This is most definitely a possibility.

It's the 512 BB. The shape of the rear arch and the hood vents match up with the 512, plus the silhouette is missing the GTO's big mirrors.

Yep thats what I was thinking but hell, I'll take either a 512 or a 288. Nice, either way

Just stating a fact. I get intrigued by cool cars, cool real world cars implemented into GT. Not cars that only exist in virtual reality. The fact is the production cars are better than the concept rubbish.

VXR
I believe it will be a mule with even lighter camouflage and this will be joined by the production model as soon as that car is unveiled at Geneva.

As much as I think it’s the FT-1, you might be onto something here. PD have already done this before with the GT-R Black Mask in GT5P, and the C7 Test Prototype in GT5. That, and Toyota have a good relationship with PD, being the only game aside from Project Cars that has its road cars featured ingame...

While this may have been the case at the inception of the program, it's worth pointing out it isn't strictly true anymore.

Is there any way that the “mystery car” could be a Ferrari 488 GTB? I’m almost positive it’s a McLaren F1, but I just wanted to toss another idea at it.

Either way, this update will be fantastic. I don’t always like to race, sometimes I’ll just get in a lobby and drive highway speeds on the far right with my hazards on in top gear. GT has always been great for that, and with the Ford GT being added, I’ll cruise even more.

Am I the only one that's a bit disappointed by the fact that we're getting all these wonderful Japanese 90s classics (r32, r34, rx7, supra) but have no means of adding anything aftermarket or anything that enhances the engine noise?

As someone from the NFS/F&F generation, 90s Japanese sports cars with stock bodywork making stock car noises are basically blank canvases. I know GTS is taking a new direction, and I do appreciate being able to design liveries and choose aftermarket rims but my goodness I've grown up with that being just the tip of the iceberg of what you do with cars like these. I know it sounds silly but I've never seen a stock sounding or stock looking r32/r34/rx7/supra, and to me it almost doesn't seem right.

Mystery car? What do you mean?

I find it odd we cannot at least put a downforce adding parts.

The potential cars look great....but where is the Mclaren P1 and P1 GT3? The Porsche 918? The new Ford GT? Come on. Those cars HAVE to be in GT. And tracks? More tracks PLEASE oh pretty PLEASE. Le Mans, Spa, Laguna Seca, Deep Forest....

Hopefully we see some new manufacturers joining the Gr.3 and Gr.4 ranks at some point as well as just additional cars - Volvo and Kia would be a good start.

The KTM GT4 should also have been added along with the recent addition of the road version

New cars are nice and all, but do we ever use them?

All there is, is pretty much Gr.3 and Gr.4 only
I really hope PD works on sport mode a bit more. There needs to be more variety real bad (N800 races, Gr.1, 15-20 laps, etc)

I agree, the game is called "sport".... its primarily a racing game.... l almost exclusively drive gr4 and gr3 cars online so these cars are of little interest to me. I'm please they are adding something but if new tracks don't start arriving soon I'll jump ship back to pCars2 for sure.
