Hyped: for the Supra and the 2000GT. Among the possible other historical cars.

Hopeful: we get a new track. Would be nicer if there was a totally new one, instead of a derivative from some track we already have.

Also wishing we get more Endurance races in GT league.

Off topic but...

This map is outdated because i'm pretty sure that Saudi Arabia, UAE and such starts on Sunday rather than Saturday. That was like the 90's or something where Thursday and Friday was the weekend. They changed that around 2006-2007 i believe.

Wait...since when 'Murica and Canada starts on Sunday? I always thought that the rest of the world simply started on Monday?

I actually knew the 512BB before the 308 existed back when i was a kid. Although i admit it's all because of Gran Turismo 5 Prologue.
Here in Brasil, the week starts on Sunday, but we start working on Monday.

We are a bit off topic here, but as you can see here, the week in United States starts on sunday (so do Japan):

and here in Norway, the week starts on monday:

maybe the other picture is a bit outdated, but there is countries where the week starts on a sunday, which i tried to tell the member who said, if you live on planet earth, the week starts on mondays and that is not so.

When Doug Demuro said people confuse the 512BB with the 308, I was like, no way.....but then I read this thread. :banghead:
It is just one of its quirks/features!

Almost all the fantasy tracks have "surnames" (GP, Village, etc) that tell me we are supposed to have extra versions of things like Alsace, Lake Maggiore, Colorado and others.

Not only new tracks, but new content in general. There’s even a thread here (somewhere) talking about it. We just don’t get it why they (PD) have to work soooo slowly.

Sometimes I do not understand the difficulty of PD in adding more circuits. it's annoying. Everybody wants. It is already making users uncomfortable.
Maybe you understand it now
"They are using very impressive, very complex methods to digitize the circuits,” he says. “They use photos from helicopters, GPS, Differential GPS and laser scans to build a 3D circuit. It is the kind of technology F1 teams usually use with their simulators.”

Aren't they working on older GT tracks? I'd prefer they first release some well known and highly demanded real tracks , like 3 of them then bring in whatever else they want. People will be content with 3 good tracks for beginning of 2018. Then hopefully they keep the flow of cars coming in.

So.... we still have no clue when the new cars will release, correct? Wishful thinking is apparently, for tomorrow? Is there a reason for that (tomorrow) thought?

I only want new tracks, and maybe a Car, but tracks, tracks is what GTS really needs.

Amen, brother! And someone else said, some races series! Hoping for sooner than later.

Are you sure it is not the default maintenance notification from 10/30/2017?

I can confirm that no, it is not.

It's not really wishful thinking, its based on an Administrator of this site (who also dropped a subtle hint in a post in December I recall, or possibly it was one of the other Admins) saying that tomorrow's maintenance notification is not the default maintenance notification.

Of course, that doesn't necessarily mean its the January update either, but the comment is so brief and cryptic as to invite positive thinking re tomorrow morning. Unless @SlipZtrEm indicates otherwise below this. Or nothing happens tomorrow morning. In which case, I'm talking bollocks!

Thanks for the clarification. I did not know this.

I just did a google search and apparently the PSN is partially down :( i hope they gonna fix it before tomorrow's maintenance!

I should clarify that statement: I consider the pop-up that happens upon loading the game up today different than the original "weekly schedule maintenance" notice that shows up in the bottom bar of info on the main screen.

However, I do note that there are usually these same pop-ups each week serving as a reminder to folks to save. With the post you quoted, I believed @hellZfirE was referring to the original maintenance schedule announcement from October.

The pop-up today did not mention a game update would arrive alongside it. The pop-up that showed up prior to the 1.09/1.10 update did. That doesn't mean there's zero chance of the new cars arriving this evening, but I wouldn't take it as confirmation they are, either. :)

Would be strange for them to drop an update out of nowhere. Especially one that contains some high profile and historic cars.

Kaz tweeted about it over the weekend saying “Update next week”. How is it out of nowhere?

Yamauchi-san has a substantial amount of Twitter followers, sure (more than the official GT account, actually), but it's still a drop in the bucket compared to the 2+ million fans on Facebook, for instance. I think that's what @sems4arsenal means: outside of the one tweet, there's no other info/media on it.

How is this out of nowhere? This was posted on twitter this saturday:

but i would like to see in-game info about this update, which will most likely be 1.11, but i don't remember if the in-game info comes before or after a update :embarrassed:.
