Just Sayin'
I’ve had an idea for an open-world racing game where the map is every significant racetrack combined into one. Of course, you would be able to section off parts of the map so you can drive on the true layout of an individual track, but they are all still connected at certain points. Let’s say you’re on a straight away; you can turn left and end up in the last corners of the Nürburgring, or you can turn right and end up at Le Man’s Mulsanne Corner.
Outside of it likely being prohibitively expensive, I fully expect something like that, some day, tied to Google Earth. A game that lets you literally drive anywhere on the globe? Sign me up. 👍
That'd be a seriously cool game concept. It'd be even more cool if you'd be able to configure your own layout connecting multiple different tracks into one. Spa, Le Mans, Laguna Seca, and Monza should have been in the game from the get go. I just don't know how those 4 tracks that have been in the games forever it seems like somehow got left out considering what this game is centered around. Instead we get 4 variations of the Tokyo loops. We get 3 ovals but instead of Daytona or Indy we get Blue Moon and BB Raceway. I just do not understand the thought process behind their track selection. There's so many tracks around the world that I would love to see in GT that never have been. Watkins Glen, Road Atlanta, Road America, CoTA, Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, Sebring, Imola, Zandvoort, Hockenheimring, Circuit De Cataluyna, Yas Marina, and so on. Instead we're just here hoping we get the same tracks that have been in GT for over a decade.I'm bombarding @Kaz_Yamauchi's twitter with requests for more circuits.
My requests: Spa, La Sarthe, Watkins Glen, Road America, Sugo and Autopolis.
You too! Let's go!
I hope they do the RZ model. That one is much better!I would laugh so hard if the presumed Supra is the SZ-R.
I imagine you'll be the highlight of his day.I'm bombarding @Kaz_Yamauchi's twitter

Tesla?Anyone think the FT-1 silhouette points to a VGT Gr.3 Road car?
The absence of these iconic circuits is a strong blow to the GTS.Spa, Le Mans, Laguna Seca, and Monza should have been in the game from the get go. Edit: and lest we also not forget about tracks like Silverstone, Fuji, Motegi, etc that were also mysteriously left out of GT Sport.
the third in the middle row seems to me one of these
Unsure if it’s the first standard or not, but I bet we’ll see more old standards appearing in GTS.Is the Supra the first "Standard" in GTS? Makes me wonder if PD will bring back the FPV and Holden cars.
Alright le mans just in time for daytona 24hLOL. They will. They already have stated that.
From now to March 2018, a total of approximately 50 cars are already planned for addition to the game.
And the updates will continue beyond March! You can of course look forward to the addition of new tracks as well, so stay tuned!

Today Gran Turismo Sport Producer Kazunori Yamauchi took to Twitter to respond to a few questions from the fans, mostly focused on upcoming post-launch DLC.
First of all, Yamauchi-san was asked whether we can expect Super GT cars in the game, and he mentioned that the plan is for them to be added via DLC.
After that, he explained that downloadable content will also include commercial cars, vintage cars, and famous cars. Polyphony intends to keep adding content to the game, “because this is Gran Turismo.”
Lastly, Yamauchi-san was asked to add new tracks as well, and his response was a very positive “of course!”
So, if the time frame is correct, for the next 3 years period that GT sport will be supported we should get between 12-18 tracks!
OK, if we sum up all the available tracks that are in the game right now, plus those to come, that's neither excellent or bad.
But better this than nothing! lol
