Gran Turismo Taking Over the World? (Another GT related street named)

We all know about Paseo De Kazunori Yamauchi being unveiled at Ronda in time for GT6's launch, but now now Bathurst is getting in on the action with Gran Turismo Dr.

So what say you guys, is this a a good enough testament to GT's global influence, or could more possibly be to come?...

As much as I love GT and as much as it has influenced me I have to say I think it's rather a testament to the power of GTs publicity department.

Looks like its just a lane at the race circuit, not a residential street in the suburb of Bathurst.
