BTW, Gran Turismo is Italian for "Grand Touring" ...

Oh, wait, almost forgot, the movie would have to have a killer soundtrack. Having songs for the mood of each countries cars. Rock and Country (gotta have Hot-rod Lincoln, or a remixed version) for American cars, Techno (the good kind, not the crappy nerdy kind) for the Japanese, Classical and Violinist for the European cars (remixed classical is pretty cool). But it would have to be in the correct times. If its an intense scene, there would have to be a tense music, when its needed...

Ugh, when it comes to music, I would never want to add in the Country, Classical, or Violinist in a movie. It would hurt the reputation of the movie 👎

Yeah I know, but the defintion of 'touring' goes in complete contrast with that of racing. I mean:

"Touring n. Travel, as on a bicycle or on skis, for pleasure rather than competition." (taken from dictionary.com)

Doesn't sound very GT-ish to me. At least the definition of 'tourism' omits that of "rather than competition". I, for one, do race for pleasure. Which I suppose was the idea back the day in Italy.
I'm not gonna keep this sig much longer at any rate.

Edit: Regarding the music idea, I'd go easy on the Country. The rest are all fine picks though.

I have an idea, instead of having the girls stand next to the cars, like they did in Fast and the Furious, have them race in the Gran Turismo movie

BTW: Girl racers are way hotter than the import models, and I'd like to hear other people's opinions as well.

and just so it appeals to a wider, younger, non gt audience, he'll have NOS painted on every surface of the cars

Well if they followed the rule of grand turismo they would have to keep the cars pretty stock looking. I would just hope if they made something like this they just don't go overboard with the racing scene. In 2f2f they extended a 1/4 mile into a minute long pos.

Also, I do believe that they should have some crashing going on, it just wouldn't be real racing without some crashing. Last but not least, I believe that the movie should be either 100% cgi, or 100% real. I don't like it when they mix cgi and reality, because more than likely it will look like ****. IMHO
