Gran Turismo tournament thing - I need help

I've been trying to beat that tournament in the pro races for a couple of days but I keep on losing because of pit stops, and my B-Spec guy is too stupid to drive straight. I don't think the other cars are helping either...
Will someone give me advice (pit stops, car selections, driving techniques....etc.) please?

Yes, many people have found this championship difficult, so there is already lots of existing discussion already. Doing a search for "Gran Turismo World Championship", or "GTWC" in the GT4 forum will give you the results you need, for example here.

The most helpful way, to me, is looking at detailed write-ups that people have done in this very forum, all collected in a few threads above this one here.

Lastly, this thread is in the wrong forum. This isn't a race report is it?
